Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach - Hotel in San Clemente - 3701 S El Camino Real, USA

Great location! Easy access! The front desk attendant was very helpful, but the room was just so-so. The phone handset cord to the base was not attached, then it took five calls to the front desk to get connected. TV in bedroom did not work and there was a long black hair in the bathtub. Water only luke warm for morning shower. The bed was comfortable. I would say just an average room.

Location is very good, other than that it’s an old property. Carpet and furniture started showing age. Wash area is out of bathroom. Guy at reception was very sweet and helpful. Parking is free which is a big plus around this area. Not too bad for a stay and worth the price

First off the phone in the room cracking, also they refuse to make the bed or change sheets after a four day stay. One of the tv's not working. No cleaning serves, provided in this hotel. The only thing that you will receive is clean towels, the dirty towels the maids place them on the hallway floor outside your room before retrieving them for the laundry so unsanitary. . They will gladly take your money no consolation for the short fall. Choose wisely before selecting this hotel.

Overall, it was a really good stay! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 days for the 4th of July. We noticed that the hit water doesn't always work. So either they need to upgrade or get more to accommodate to the number of rooms. We took a few cold showers 😂. But it's really convenient, though. Im a hard sleeper but if you are a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend this place only bc you can hear the highway. The bath tubs were the best part!

Positive: The bed and parking were very good. Negative: The telephone had no dial tone, we needed pillows to sit on the sofa as we sank into the sofa, last but not least, we had nats in our room.

Room and location are average, and the service was mediocre. I checked in around 2200 and specifically asked for a late check out of 1200 instead of 1100. I was told that was acceptable. I asked again to confirm, and if it could be written on my checkin papers and the person checking me in reaffirmed that it was annotated on the system and that I was good to stay till 1200. Low and behold between 1100 and 1200, I received four sets of knocks that I had to respond to when I was trying to sleep in after a series of international flights. Maybe they're good otherwise, but their staff's lack of ability to communicate internally about this particular request was frustrating.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel called Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach. My wife, who has a service dog, was prevented from staying at the hotel after already paying for the accommodations. They violated Federal laws where service dogs are not considered ordinary pets! They embarrassed us, called us liars, and didn't even bother to check our Federal Service Dog Certificate. They accused us of falsifying documents without verifying them. It was a dreadful experience that I will do everything in my power to ensure never happens again, and those individuals working at this hotel should be held accountable for the harm they caused my wife

This Comfort Inn in San Clemente was disgusting and filthy. Old interiors and not clean at all. Especially the bathroom. When brought to the attention of the hotel manager we were treated with hostility and very rude behavior. We checked in and checked out immediately. I would never suggest booking this awful hotel.
