We had a very comfortable stay here while traveling through the area on our way to our final destination. We arrived around 8:00pm after a long day and were greeted with a friendly welcome by the young lady at the front desk. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep. We were able to enjoy a nice breakfast the next morning before heading out for the next leg of our journey. Breakfast area was clean and staffed with someone who did a great job of making sure area was clean and well stocked. The lovely lady who checked us out in the morning was a ray of sunshine with her delightful flowers in her hair and her cheery personality! The staff here seem to care about making your stay a pleasant one. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
If I could give these guys 10 stars out of 5 I would. The hotel was so clean in every aspect. The rooms were really nice and not what I expected. The staff were all extremely friendly and hospitable. Last but not least, like an idiot I left my wallet in the room by mistake and ended up three hours away on the verge of panic. Called the hotel, they said they found it and attempted to call me but couldn’t find the number because we did our booking through Expedia. They said they’d hold onto it for me until I could drive back many hours later. Lo and behold I drove back that night and by god they had my wallet with everything in it. Like, holy crap that just DOES NOT happen but these guys did it. I was beyond words with gratitude. If you or your family are looking for a place to stay in the Salem/Roanoke area go to this place. You won’t be sorry. Thanks Comfort Inn. You guys are the best.
Very quiet and clean hotel.
The hot tub works great (must have been fixed) and the indoor pool is pleasant. Good hot breakfast.
Even though the place feels pretty new (it even has non opening windows as is now common), lots of minor wear already like missing hooks in the bathroom.
Ok so my family of 6 showed up at 9:30pm. We started to get my 3 yr old to bed but noticed how hot the room was maybe 78 degrees. I assumed the wall unit had been off so we turned it down and expected the room to cool down. Wrong. They put us in a hot room and we were stuck. No sleep much tonight. You should check your rooms before putting families in for the night. Horrible night
Positive: The room was nice and big and the beds were very comfortable. the bathroom was spacious, too! Negative: The people at check-in were a little bit difficult to understand because they weren?t Americans. They also weren?t very attentive at check-in.
Dirty. Half of the lamps did not work. Floor was filthy. Shower head was clogged, barely working and gross. Smoke detector missing. Locking mechanism on inside door removed/missing. A/C unit leaked onto the carpet.
Very nicely decorated room with sofa and desk. Very comfortable king bed. Fridge and microwave. Free hot breakfast items. Quiet the night I stayed
Second time we stayed here. Pool & hot tub were clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. We plan to stay here again.
Nice room! We stayed in #113 for one night. Two queens and the one we slept in was comfortable and soft. Pillows were also comfortable and each bed had 4 pillows available. The room was clean and somewhat insulated as we could hear the rooms around u
E3 has given me something different, I have always worked out and generally hung out in the power lifting realm. This is totally different but Iâm taking baby steps towards growing in this functional, full-body, and mind renewing fitness! I love th
Being retired from a career requiring 55-65 hour work weeks was somewhat difficult. I found myself needing something to do, so I got a part time job (20 hours a week) like so many other seniors. But, it wasn't all that fulfilling, as I found, I neede
The Salem Museum is a first class, local history site. They have modern, informative exhibits, friendly staff, a beautiful facility, and awesome programs. Be sure to check out the ghost tours and surround cemetery. A must visit while in Salem!
This park is a favorite of ours. There is no playground, but instead there is a river that is always fun for kids to throw rocks in. If the water level is lower it is great for swimming as well. There is a section of pavement that is great for runnin
Great place for karaoke, people are Uber friendly regardless of who you meet. Drinks are decent, service is on point. Food was good for bar food. If you come to play pool bring cash :)
