Comfort Suites Miami Airport North - Hotel in Miami Springs - 657 Minola Dr, USA

We took a family vacation and rented 9 rooms at this hotel for 2 nights. We contacted the hotel prior to our trip about what time the shuttle ran. We were told if we guaranteed our stay with a credit card that they would have the shuttle pick us up since our flight didn't land until after midnight. We arrived and the shuttle driver said that he had waited until 1230 even though our flight didn't get in until after that and they knew when we were scheduled to be in because we discussed it prior to booking. We ended up having to take 4 lyfts to get us all to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel the front desk staff was great and he did his best to get us checked in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, however none of the reviews mentioned that the hotel HAS not had bedbugs or roaches. When we went to the front desk to make them aware we were told the only other room available didn't have working air conditioning. We had to rearrange our parties so that they could be removed from the room with bed bugs. Then two of our parties had roaches in their room. I truly think that the employees are posting the 10 star and 5.0 reviews because the only bright light to this stay was the front desk staff AT NIGHT ONLY! The remaining staff didn't speak even when greeted directly.

Location is good in relation to the airport. Shuttle ran smoothly. Our room was up to par. Staff was not the greatest, but it seems hit or miss according to most reviews.

We initially stayed here because it offers transportation from the airport to the hotel, and also to the cruise ports. There are a limited number of vans going to the airport and they only come every hour. We had to wait over 45 minutes in the heat, but eventually they got us to the hotel, but dropped us off at the one across the street. The rooms were very nice and clean and the pool was great for my kiddos. The breakfast was pretty good and they had little mini waffles that the kids loved. there was a lot of noise from planes taking on and off as you are right across from the airport, but they were kind of fun to watch. The shuttle buses to the cruise port were filled by the time we checked in and we had to take the one at noon, but it ended up working out fine and they gave us a late check out.

A nice hotel with nice suite layouts, good customer service and mostly clean rooms. but the sorry excuse of a laundry room is an insult for the price you pay here. I came down to miami with my wife and son to visit my brother who was in a work accident and on the car ride my son spilled his bottle in the car seat. As we knew this hotel had a "laundry room" we were hopeful it would be painless experience. What we found instead was the complete opposite with machines that require coins and look like theyre from 2005. To top it off there is exactly one washer and one dryer and the dryer was out of service.

Very rude staff. $2 mandatory, hidden safe fee charged after stay. Right next to MIA and free 30 minute shuttle. Also have a free shuttle to the port, please sign up for a time slot when you get your room key- first come, first serve and they can run out of seats. Our room and bathroom were dirty and the carpet ripped. Continental breakfast was a joke.

We book this “ hotel” for one night because we were going on a cruise the next day. We checked in at 10pm and checked out at 11pm. The room was over run with roaches . The hotel was nasty and dirty. The AC broken , the shuttle took an hour to get us from the airport and nothing but ghetto people hanging around the hotel inside and out roaming the halls drinking. My family left and we’re are in an Uber to the Hilton!

Please DO NOT book this hotel, especially if you are wanting to use their shuttles. As I’m writing this review, I’m sitting at the airport and we’ve waited TWO HOURS for the shuttle, only for it to pass us TWICE because they have “a full van”. My family and I have called the front desk numerous times and they gave us a different story each call on what the estimated time the shuttle will take to get to the airport. The shuttle drivers were extremely rude. The room itself was mediocre. There were multiple things broken in the room, and we were unable to close the curtains so the runway lights were blaring into the room causing us to not sleep well. In our friends’ room, all the lights were broken. The room was clean but not fit for people to stay in. The only good part of this hotel was Brian. Brian is an awesome person and finally got the shuttle to come to us after an extremely long ordeal. He should definitely get a raise. Please book the hotel a couple streets over and save you some time, especially if you want to use the shuttles.

Our room was subpar. Found an old bandaid stuck to our bedding. Cracked tile in shower wall, scuffed walls, and damaged TV screen. There are so many other airport hotels that also offer shuttle services - I'd suggest looking at one of them.
