Comfort Suites Kansas City-Liberty - Hotel in Kansas City - 8200 N Church Rd, USA

AVOID. Front desk created a reservation for a day in the past, and charged us for not checking in (wasn't possible to check-in, but okay). We were told everything was sorted and we had our room all set. However, when we showed up on the day we tried to make our reservation for, they said we did not have a room. About 20 min after getting us a room and telling us we were finally good, they double charged us. After a few days and another conversation with them, it seemed like the charges were straightened out. Should've known better. Days after we checked out, they charged us $50 because of dog pee (not from my dogs). What's the point of the initial fee we paid for the pets of your just going to charge us more, days later, with no proof we caused any mess.

Located close to interstate. Easy on and off for traveling. Friendly, helpful staff. Our stay was fine. Comfortable bed, quiet environment. I just felt that we had stayed in a previous smoking/vaping room. There was a distinct odor, and I woke up sneezing and coughing. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was attentive and there was ample choices of what to eat. The bath tub area could use a tad bit of elbow grease.

Cockroaches! Dirty! Smelly! My husband's work got us this hotel for a work outing at worlds of fun and oceans of fun and when we got there, I noticed the carpet was dirty, the fridge was smelly, and it was overall dirty. I was willing to look past that if I needed to to be able to stay there until we reached for the phone and giant cockroaches crawled out from under the phones. We immediately left. the front desk staff offered us another room, but I'm assuming the whole hotel is infested. We left the hotel and went to another hotel. I would absolutely never stay there.

Stay away from this hotel! When I checked in I immediately noticed how run down this hotel was. My room had huge cobwebs all over the ceiling. On the faucet there was mold spots. When I asked to cancel my 2 other nights because the hotel was gross, the girl and manager Buja said I was a liar. At that point, I refused to step foot back in that hotel as I didn’t feel safe. I even sent her the pictures of the cobwebs and she claimed she didn’t get it. I said walk to the room and look! I will never step foot in this hotel again. They refunded 1 of my 3 nights which is a joke considering I only slept there 1 night and left at 7am the next morning. Find a different hotel!!

So we got breakfast this morning and my family got milk to drink. They sat down and just before they drank their milk they noticed bugs in it. My husband took the glasses of milk to front desk to show them. Their response was oh sorry. I'm sorry, but when drinks are prepared for a meal they should inspect the canister that they put milk in. It turned us off eating breakfast. Rooms were ok but could be better. We won't be back to this hotel.

I liked the hotel, I liked the location, the staff was friendly. My only two complaints is the shower head had settings that didn't work, so the water shot out hard and in the mini sitting area there was dirt on the walls. They should pay attention to the walls and wipe them down from time to time. All in all, I would stay there again

The location is great. It's centered with the main area of liberty. Got all kinds of food and shopping and other things available in the immediate area. The cleanliness was a bit too desire. The wall showed signs of leaking from the pool (I assume) the paper was coming off the wall. The elevator has so gross orange stuff stuck on the lenses of the lights. It wouldn't take much to clean or replace them. The room smelled. And not an appealing smell. They did have black out shades. The ac filters were clean. And the room in general was clean minus the odor. We were late for breakfast, so I really wasn't sure how good or bad.

Scammed us out of money. We got the the room and it was very dirty and worn out looking. I looked at towels and they had long black pubic hairs on them! Brought this to front desk, and they refused to refund our money, even though I had swiped my card at the desk for two nights stay. I refused to stay here. There was no manager at this location, and Choice Hotels are based out of India. They were difficult to understand and do not understand that you cannot charge someone for a stay they did not use. Terrible experience. We will never stay at a Choice Hotel again!
