Comfort Suites - Hotel in Brenham - 2350 S Day St, USA

I have stayed in Comfort In hotels across Texas and it seems they take low standards as their staple, no matter what Comfort In you go to. Their biggest problem all across the hotel chain is the unbearable smell of mildew, mold and this weird disinfectant both in the bedrooms and hotel in general. Everything is damp and humid, the carpet, chair, sofas, desk, sheets, etc. Beds are full of hairs. There’s noticeable black mold on the ceiling and curtains. I seriously don’t understand how this chain stays in business, how or why someone would stay here, and most importantly, how do they not get sued for someone getting dangerously ill. This chain makes 2 and 3 star hotels in Europe seem like 6 stars. Please book literally anything else not from this chain.

I was not happy with the experience at this hotel. It was very dated, dingy and dirty. There are not very good options in Brenham for hotels and I am regretting this one. The whole place had a horrible smell. The lobby smelled like mildew and the room was even worse. Very nauseating. I am worried to even sleep in the bed. The TV keeps buffering and I would prefer a smart TV. The TV is not the most worrisome, but annoying. I think I would feel cleaner sleeping in my car.

Positive: The front desk staff was friendly Negative: The hotel was musky and smelled like mildew. This was considered their best room, but it was not. The whole hotel reaped of musk and mildew. I couldn?t sleep at all. I checked out early! I will not stay there again. I want my refund back!

Old hotel, but Clean big rooms, nice bed. Lobby smells musty, pool was murky, but kids loved it! Adults disappointed that hot tub was not warm. Otherwise a great stay for the price!

Hotel in need of major repair or upgrades. The entire building smelled of mildew and must. Everything in our room was damp. Carpet, desk, coffee table, and bed sheets. There was black mildew on the curtains and parts of the ceiling. Would never stay here or recommend this place to anyone.

Toilet didn't work. Had to manually remove top to get water to fill up. Front door lock didn't work properly. Was told it had been replaced and you had to pull up on handle to open Didnt tell me this in advance. Also the sheer curtains were shredded in places. No remote control to turn down tv volume. Room was clean and had plenty of towels. Breakfast in lobby was awful. Watery eggs and undercooked gray looking sausage Very disappointed with this hotel. .

The rooms had a lot of damage and were outdated. The tub was not draining properly and the ac unit was not able to be adjusted. The breakfast area was cramped and not clean.

You know I can honestly say this is the first hotel that actually made me feel like I was family to them ..Penny the lady at the desk at night has the best customer service skills Than any hotel I have ever stayed at. Also the breakfast lady Connie is well worth coming to conversate with and makes u feel just like family as well. I thank yall for a great stay and many more to come
