Comfort Suites Denver near Anschutz Medical Campus - Hotel in Aurora - 14571 E Colfax Ave, USA

Our hotel room is clean and spacious. The staff members were friendly and helpful once we arrived. The breakfast was better than most hotels and included things like waffles, biscuits and gravy, and bacon. Most importantly, they were able to accommodate us for a late check out time to match our new flight time. We really can’t ask for a better last minute hotel after missing our layover flight. The only improvement I can think of is the shuttle intervals from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle only comes once every hour when we call in advance for pick up. Me and 2 other travelers had to wait 1.5 hours for the shuttle to get us from the airport.

I recently stayed at Comfort suites near Anschutz medical campus and had a fantastic experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Glory at the front desk and Raj, shuttle driver. Glory greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure our check-in process was smooth and efficient. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor set the perfect tone for our stay. She was incredibly helpful with local recommendations and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Raj, the shuttle driver, was equally impressive. He was punctual, courteous, and made the rides enjoyable with his friendly conversation and safe driving. Raj’s knowledge of the area and willingness to assist with our luggage were greatly appreciated. We will definitely be returning to Comfort suites and recommending it to our friends and family.

Outstanding staff, helpful and kind. Shuttle was a late night excursion but still relatively painless all things considered and I’m grateful it was offered to us. Clean and well maintained rooms. Fresh coffee and decent breakfast options available in the morning. I will definitely be seeking this hotel out when I end up in Denver again.

Not clean at all and very under staffed. I have stayed at many hotels throughout my life. I understand that it's really hard to maintain a clean and high quality hotel when you are understaffed. However, it was very disgusting in all honesty. There were HAIRS in my bed that definitely didn't belong to us. It was long and black. neither of us have black hair. There was BLOOD on one of the pillow cases before we used it. We put that on the floor so we didn't use it. One of the blankets had a large stain right on top. The ceiling had stuff on it. Some of the carpets had stains. The couch cushions were also stained and dirty. The fan in the bathroom had this orange goo on it. I didn't get a picture of the downstairs lobby but it was also very dirty. There were pieces of trash all through the hotel. It didn't look like it had been vacuumed/swept in a very long time. There were clumps of dirt from people's shoes everywhere. Right next to the front door on a small table, there were three disposable cups. I saw them when we checked in. Never once were they moved. They distinctly had liquids in them so who knows how long they've been sitting there. They were there the morning we checked out. I also acknowledge that they were extremely understaffed. Keeping up with cleaning while understaffed is challenging. I only ever saw one or two employees at once. But every time we would come back to the hotel, the front desk was usually empty. The employee was sitting in the lobby in a corner, on their phone watching videos with loud audio. This happened twice with at least 2 people. The reason I know that they were employees was because they had a name tag and I had seen them both previously behind the counter. No one was manning the front desk in the morning when we tried to check out. We had an appointment we had to get to and couldn't wait for long. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Another lady who was also waiting to check out ended up calling the front desk and that brought someone up to answer the phone. We were all able to check out and leave afterwards. We will not be returning to this hotel. We will strongly encourage any friends or family planning on going to Aurora area to stay far away from this hotel

Everything from the front desk, the shuttle, to the room itself, was prefect! The front desk went above and beyond to make my 5 night stay as pleasant as possible! Very professional and courteous! I was there while my husband was having a very risky and life-saving cancer surgery, therfore, the shuttle was crucial for me to get back and forth. I never had to wait more than approx 15 min for the shuttle, either correcting direction! They even took me back to the airport upon leaving and took me right to the airline I needed! Although the shuttle is free, the driver relies heavily upon tips, and are very appreciated(just an FYI). They all knew I was there alone and they kept an eye out on me to make sure I was safe. One of the nights, after returning from a full day at the hospital, the driver took me thru Taco Bell's drive thru, bc he said it was too late for me to walk over, even tho the restaurant is in the same general parking lot. With regard to the room, it was very clean, the bed and bedding was so comfortable, I slept very well. I was on the top floor and found it to be very quiet. The a/c worked exceptionally well, however the halls outside the door, and on each floor, were very warm, including the elevator. The only other issue I had was the refrigeration down in the lobby area, where they sell drinks and snacks, was also not working well which wasn't a big deal seeing I always use ice and a glass with my drinks anyway! The grounds were kept nice, the maids were very friendly and all in all, it was a very pleasant stay.. and I would definitely stay there again. If you need a hotel close to the hospital, including the children's hospital, this is the place to stay..especially if you'll be needing transportation back and forth! Your room has a refrigerator and microwave, along with a hair dryer and iron. There's a convenience store a few steps away, aChase bank, along with the taco bell I mentioned earlier. I didn't make it down to the indoor pool, unfortunately, but it was available each day, all day, until about 9pm. Thank you to all the staff that helped me thru a very difficult trip to your area. We flew from California to have this surgery and it was a successful journey! We appreciate your hospitality!

I'm So disappointed with the service at this comfort suites hotel. I was given a hotel voucher from United Airlines after missing Our connecting flight. We chose this hotel because it was close and we Had a 6 AM flight in the morning. We called at 7:45 PM and was told we just missed the shuttle The shuttle runs on the hour. I called several times to the hotel to find out where the shuttle was and I was hung up on. We were finally picked up at 9:35. The driver was reckless on his phone, made full stops at green lights for no reason. when I finally got to the hotel the line was long, And I was told no one hung up on me, but when the call is put on hold for several minutes, it disconnects. The gentleman had to put the calls on hold because he was too busy and by himself Well, comfort suites you should not be putting your name in with united airlines if you can not Accommodate passengers who receive voucher’s at the last minute for flight cancellations. Terrible service all around. Room was okay...shower doors did not close

Hotel room was nice and roomy and hotel was overall nice. My only complaints would be security issues as there were doors propped open that were supposed to be closed at all times and homeless people hanging around outside and in the lobby. Another thing was the a/c in our room not working. Instead of fixing it or moving us, the gave us one fan to cool us down.

My mother and I are having an enjoyable stay here in the Comfort Suites. Rooms are luxurious spacious and both the AC and heater work well. Good location with surrounding places to dine or shop. I recommend Comfort Suites for any person looking for a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Comfort Suite. 😊
