Comfort Suites - Hotel in Channelview - 15813 2nd St, USA

I enjoyed the layout of the Suites. There’s a partition wall to separate the bed from the sleeper couch area, which was a plus! The room was clean and so was the hotel. Front desk was attentive & staff was friendly. My only complaints was that the a/c didn’t cool down as low as I prefer, in room #316….the water pressure was a bit low, and I would’ve preferred a tub for my lil one. Lastly, Ice Machines were out of service on ALL 4 floors. Besides all that.. Hotel is still clean & cozy. Room wasn’t hot. I just prefer a cold room. Would return if the ice machine is operating.

I was in Houston for 2 weeks and stayed here. The room was clean and well kept. The front desk staff were really friendly, helpful, and great with recommending places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with waffles, eggs, sausages, and morning pastries. It was an all-around great experience staying at this Comfort Suites. I will be back here on my next run through Houston.

Dirty, shady area, water coming from the stove hood onto the stove. Coffee maker but no carafe. No cups, mugs, utensils, pots, pans etc. There was a roach and yes I killed it. Bed was so hard. Couch was filthy, bathroom was okay I guess. Nothing in the “market” area. Pool was not the cleanest. Breakfast was awful, husband wanted water and it was broken and sprayed everywhere. Juice was watered down. There was one muffin and 2 pieces of bread. Sausage was ok but cold, eggs were awful. Never again!

I travel with Lysol wipes and always clean areas that I will come in contact with, I was extremely impressed. The Lysol wipes found no brown. That’s rare. The room very clean. This is a shady area right off IH 10 but the parking area is well lit and gated. The price was very affordable, I will stay here again when coming through.

Unexpectedly Horrible Comfort Suite. The room was unclean with no TP, only one towel, and stains on the couch, floor, and blankets. The bathroom door had something sticky all over it, like maybe a soda was sprayed on it. There was a rusty nail coming out the wall in the bathroom. Breakfast was poorly attended and had the bare minimum to call it a Comfort Suites breakfast. The Market place looked like it hadn’t been used for over a year. I wouldn’t stay again and I might avoid all Comfort’s now, which used to be my family’s go to hotel for road trips.

Horrible. Absolutely do not book here. So Gross. Incredibly disgusting rooms. Staff even said to me as we left 10 minutes after checking in.. “Yeah I wouldn’t stay here either, it’s so bad” they asked me to please put in a review so others would be aware. That’s from the staff.. Broken door lock, tv broken, no cleaning had been done here in years… literally. Please do not give this place your money. They refuse to give you a refund. And won’t even take your phone calls. Horrid.

Daniel is the best. He's always courteous, smiling and Happy. The rates here are great and the rooms are clean and comfortable 👌 🙌 😌. We love this place. Thanks 😊 🫂 🙏 😊 love loves, also the continental breakfast is better than we've ever had before.

I had to stay here during Training with a Near Bye Company. First, problem I showed the printout with My conformation Information and The Front Desk Lady said" You must be registered at a Different Comfort Suites." I asked her could she read the print out. Stayed in the Computer for ten more minutes, still couldn't find it. Then, She called her Boss, the Manager and He informed her How to open the Other pages of the Computer list. Secondly, The attitude was not needed. If you do customer service, You must be PROFESSIONAL, Courteous and friendly. I was supposed to be there 10 to 12 days, But my training got switched to Other Location. So, two days later, I will assume Corporate called to let her know I was leaving two days later. Now, everything was switched Flight, Location for training, and New hotel. Everything was going well. Then, the Lady came to my door (the day of Departure) Around 1200 noon. She asked will I be leaving today. I said "Yes at 13:30 Or 14:00 Once the UBER PICKUP. Her response was okay. Not less than 30 minutes. She Knocked while Opening the Door. She didn't wait for me to open the door. She said " You need to leave out the room, LISTEN TO WHY??? Because the Housekeeper is leaving at 13:30. So, I need to get out the Room, so she can Clean the room. Where is the PROFESSIONAL Business person, Rude, disrespectful and liar. The Corporate for Comfort Suites will get feedback on this Lady. After, I called the travel booking company and The training Company to see what went wrong. She told them I could stay in the room. Who, puts You out dirty room then, Says you can sit in there and wait for UBER. No thank you. Don't Back track after You are called by Corporate Office. The Room carpet was flithly The desk and other things had dirt and debris. The shower was nasty and Black. And the Sheets were dirty and had Hair in them??? If you planning to Stay here you will be putting your HEALTH at risk. They have 2.0 Star rating They need 1.0 rating They need a NEW MANAGER and NEW FRONT DESK LADY. The problems start with Management, if you are aware of problems You need to correct them. This is the Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. And the worst Management. Get better or Close your Doors. The other students, had worst experiences, But that is for them to say.
