Comfort Suites - Hotel in Richmond - 2007 Colby Taylor Dr, USA

Arrived at about 2:30am after a long drive and the desk agent was able to quickly get me into a room. I was only there long enough to sleep but the room appeared clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. Only issue I had was that the shower head was unscrewed and it shot water everywhere when I first turned it on. Nozzle settings were also broken. I would consider this hotel again though.

First room, bathroom sink did not drain in over an hour while we went to dinner. Second room, a yukky smell, but it did have a shield (globe) on the bathroom vanity light, which the first room was missing. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work, and the shower curtain was barely touching the bathtub. Not a great experience, mildew in corners of bath, but otherwise cleaning was ok. New tile bathtub surround, the rest of the room was worn & dated. Breakfast was unimpressive & gross coffee.

worst comfort inn i’ve EVER STAYED IN. walked in late at night we all was wore out from traveling, a man was fighting with the workers for putting him in a dirty room. got to our room, the toilet is broken, room smells like dirty socks, the curtains couldn’t lose, the fridge was NASTY, the air conditioner hadn’t been turned on, and no clean towels made us leave a HOUR EARLY, with the rudest staff i have ever witnessed, never will stay again.

I’ll start off with the positives. The location is great and the staff I interacted with was nice. The not so great, the room had a foul odor, stains on the bed sheets and pillow cases were unpleasant. The shower head was broken. The room was outdated and not clean. The better hotels in the area were sold out for the night I stopped in.

Get a coffee and keep driving, this place is a dump. Filthy rooms, there is no hot tub as advertised, a fire extinguisher is used to prop the pool area door open, no towels in the pool area. Pool steps slippery and rail loose/ broken from floor. Stains on the couch, curtains, lamp shade, even the ceiling. Key cards weren't working needed to reprogram them twice. I will probably never consider staying at another "Choice" hotel again.

Would give a minus 5 if I could! This is the worst Comfort Suites I have ever stayed in. We were traveling and it was later at night and if it had been possible to get a refund I would have left. The lady working at the desk was not your usual friendly Comfort Suites employee. We booked on line and when I went into the hotel, the reservation hadn't confirmed on their end and she tried to quibble over $8. She said she could not give me my member price if I booked directly with her. So, I had to stand there until it took my reservation on line. The room smelled horrible! Old and musty. I was afraid we might catch something breathing the air or that the place may have bugs. The only reason I slept at all was because we were so tired. Breakfast was not your normal choice hotels food either. No hot food other than waffles. This facility really hurts the Choice Hotels Brand!! Would NEVER stay there again.

We ALWAYS have the best stay at this hotel! We live 45 minutes from that hotel and we stay there so our littles can swim. It’s gotta be the warmest pool in Richmond. But if you go here, aways treat Tina with the utmost respect because I can guarantee you she goes above and beyond at her job to always get you anything you need so your stay is the best and comfiest. Year after year she’s always remembered us and treats us like family as soon as we come through those doors. Best hotel in the county!

Rented a dirty room that had not been used for some time, no towels, no wash clothes, the toilet seat was broken, the floor was Nasty, fridge was dirty, the room smelt dirty clothes, the hotel besides the room smelled like POT, the next morning on a Saturday, I we mistakenly thought check out was 12, threw us out before 11, and was INSANELY rude about it. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
