Comfort Suites - Hotel in Turlock - 191 N Tully Rd, USA

My husband and I own our own company and we stay in hotels all over the West Coast. Even though Turlock seems like a small town in central California I have to tell you that my husband and I love this motel more than pretty much any other motel we've stayed at. Not only are the staff incredibly exceptional and accommodating but the continental breakfast is quite good. I couldn't ask for a more comfortable environment in a hotel or better staff every time it's just been an all-around great experience! I want to give a big round of applause to Jacqueline, Aaron and the manager Stephanie. They are all wonderful people. Thank you for always being so inviting.

My stay was nice. The hallways and elevator were quite warm. The ac functioned ok could have worked better. The bed was comfortable. The young lady that worked the desk the first night and final afternoon was wonderful. Went out her way to help and was very friendly.

While staying at the Comfort Suites, we needed to extend our stay by one night. We were unable to change the existing reservation through the website, so Jaqueline F helped me. She was extremely helpful and very friendly. Our company very rarely stay at Comfort Suites; however, this experience convinced me to keep Comfort Suites in mind for our next business trip. Thank you!

My experience at this hotel and with choice hotels in general was very poor. As you can see in the pictures the primary issue I dealt with was bugs being in our room. The hotel was overbooked so they couldn't move us and gave us bug spray after we asked for it. This issue doesn't need any explanation Obviously having a bug-infested room presents numerous safety and cleanliness concerns. However, the other issue is with the management, specifically the GM Stephanie Baker, she never reached out to me after I contacted her, not even to apologize. I had to follow up with her to try to resolve this. After finally reaching her she didn't honor the compensation that I was told I would receive and she didn't seem to care about the issue. Lastly, I called Choice Hotels directly and they displayed the same attitude. They have terrible customer service and don't care about customer experience. I spent 90 minutes on the phone and on hold, I asked to speak with a manager and never got to. I was just told they were busy. The whole situation was handled very poorly and I didn't appreciate how I was treated, I would advise you to avoid choice hotels but definitely don't stay at the comfort suites in Turlock.

after less than 2 hrs after checkout , I realized I had left 10 bags of chips I had in a trash bag in closet. I called hotel and they said they had it. I went to get and all but 3 were returned with one of those 3 was opened and 1 case of variety of cookies was taken. They lied and tried to tell me that was all I had in the bag and I angrily told them NO it was not and stop lying and desk clerk asked housekeeper who was sitting at the dning table with other housekeepers if she knew where my stuff was and she said no but I noticed wrappers of my stuff were on the table where they were eating. Horrible behavior

Friendly staff, clean room, solid free breakfast with many options. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about. Great layover hotel between SF and Yosemite. Nearby Walmart, Safeway, and many other stores and restaurants. Very convenient.

The pool was out order. The staff informed me they would let me know at 9am if the pool would open that day. At 10am the staff was extremely rude and offputting to me when I kindly addressed them. The water didnt work in the rooma nd my daughter stood in the shower with cold water pouring down for twenty minutes because they said to jsut wait for the water to warm up. They were very rude and did not make me feel comfortable and I was very unhappy with my stay as my trip was already not going as planned. The water didnt work in our room so we had to go back and forth to use a different bathroom. The staff was incredibly unhelpful and I want a refund it was a terrible experience

Stayed here for a couple of weeks in multiple rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms was pretty standard with clean sheets and towels. Unfortunately, the carpet has seen better days, but that happens with a lot of hotels. The staff were all around great! Every individual at the front desk was kind, helpful, and overall knowledgeable. Loved having security on site frequently throughout the night. Continental breakfast was standard as well with cereal options, bagels, fruit, or waffles. Water was always available by the front desk. If I need to stay near this city again, I will stay with the same hotel.
