Comfort Inn - Hotel in Springfield - 6560 Loisdale Ct, USA

This is a reasonably priced hotel for the greater Washington DC area. It isn't fancy but it is adequate. Pros: clean rooms, great location to interstates, free ride to subway, across from a mall, excellent assistance. Both our TV and AC failed. The staff responded within minutes and moved us to another room. They even helped us move our luggage.

The staff was exceptional! Very friendly and courteous. The room was adequate, yet for the price in comparison it could not be beat. My room was extremely clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels. The pillows were horrible! The hotel, at one time, had obviously been a higher end establishment and it does need some renovation and updating. But overall, for the price in comparison . . . one gets more than expected.

Staff are wonderful. Patient, kind and friendly. We usually stay at Comfort Inns and they are a good, clean, safe bargain. But this location is shoe horned in and the building could definitely use some upgrades. The elevators are slow and one cannot use the stairs to first floor. So we had to wait for the elevator all the time, even though we stayed on the 2nd floor. Be aware, breakfast is only until 9 on weekdays. We will still stay in Comfort Inns in the future, but will probably look for a more walkable place in the future.

This is really good 2 star hotel. The service is good overall. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Excellent daily house keeping. Excellent breakfast, omelettes, burgers, oatmeal & more..Coffee, tea water cans in the lobby. They offer free shuttle to the closest metro station and back( you need to call reception and ask for . Each day till 10:30 pm, Sunday till 9:30 pm. The area is safe, mall nearby. 50-60 minutes to Washington DC downtown. Thank you comfort inn!

The location is great - the hotel service is okay, the rooms are okay, the breakfast is okay - the breakfast staff are great! The Budget Rental car staff are not up to Budget Rental Car standards, and neither are the vehicles. My rental had body damage on all four sides and was dirty. Furthermore, the Rental Car manager does not return texts or phone calls.

Positive: "" Negative: I don?t think I?d stay at this hotel again. The WiFi and the AC didn?t work very well, which is a big deal to me. I?m not sure what the issue was, but it was very frustrating. The lowest temperature i could set was for 66 degrees only

A lot better than I expected for $80/night. I've stayed at some Choice Hotels and been disappointed. This one was definitely not one of those places. I was originally supposed to only stay for 5 days, but due to travel issues, I was forced to stay for 7. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel does look a little dated, but I don't go to these places because of their looks. Can't go wrong with free breakfast everyday and it wasn't bad at all. The beds are some of the most comfortable I've slept on, they offer food service from 11am-2am from a website called Order Inn (it was cheaper than some of the food near the mall, that's for sure), and the daily room service always came around at consistent times. Great location a stone's throw from the metro station (there's a bus stop out front that goes there). One small knock is the gym does have a weight bench, but doesn't have any free weights, which I found odd. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

I was given a room on the 1st floor next to the parking lot entrance. Upon entering the room it smelled as if someone had an entire meal in the room. The room itself was okay, it was typical. I took a shower & initially thought the tub was slow to drain but noticed a few hours later that the water level was still the same. The window shades were also impossible to close all the way which gave people entering from the parking lot a veiw into the room before I propped things against the widow & curtains. But even worse that all of the above. I have been iching since staying there. I didn't see anything unusual but I was okay prior to my overnight stay.
