Decent hotel. Hallways looked to be in need of an update but the room looked great. Pretty clean. Comfortable bed. A/C has the constant fan option which I prefer. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little lacking and coffee wasn't good, but for free, it's fine. Plenty of food options within a 5-10 minute drive. Good bar and grill in walking distance. No issues, would stay there again if I'm ever in the area.
Very friendly staff experience. Coffee was fresh. Room was clean. Enjoyed the cookie! Room had a musky smell initially. We turned down the A/C and that cleared the smell out. The tub we had could use recaulking around the seams. Very comfortable beds.
According to my parents, this hotel was good ten years ago. So we stayed here 4 nights over the thanksgiving weekend. And wow... this place is really showing its age. Reasons we didn't like it:
- Peeling paint
- Terrible water pressure in the shower, with hot water intermittent
- Awful coffee from concentrate in the breakfast area
- Housekeeping was supposed to come on the third day, they never did.
- It probably wouldn't have mattered, the room was dirty to start with; dust on surfaces and hair in some places.
Terrible experience. Room was dirty, toilet leaking on floor, so they moved us to another room which also. had a dirty floor. Next day we asked for the floor to be cleaned and to take the dirty towels.
They did do the floor which had somebody else crumbs on it, didn’t take the towels which included previous persons used washcloth.

Not bad clean room, and comfortable beds. You can actually set the AC which is nice due to other locations requiring you to use a thermostat that doesn't allow cold or warm.
Cozy stay. James checked me in and was polite and professional. The hotel offers a military discount with proof(miltary ID). Traveled for work, and this was conveniently located. Less than a 10 minute drive from anything I needed(food/restaurants, Walmart). Wouldn't pass a white-glove inspection, but overall, it's pretty clean.
Really enjoyed this Comfort Inn. Amy at the front desk was very nice and made sure everything was in order. She called up later and asked if everything was up to standards. The hotel is very quiet and somewhat secluded. It's nice to look out a window and see a pine tree. Very close to Belk and other retail stores and restaurants. I'll be making more visits to this area so I can take advantage of the accommodations.
Fair price for a comfortable bed but pillows need replacing. Nice shower but mold in bathroom needs tending to so the experience wouldn't feel so grungy. Dust in room made it feel unkept. Breakfast sub-par compared to other hotels.
You really feel like your in 1895 again. That's the only reason for 4 star room review. But if you like nostalgia you'll give it 5. Best service ever. Best location ever. Everything you need is around you .
If youâre in Pinehurst for a visit, this quaint coffee shop is a must visit on any tourists list. Their seasonal coffee menu begs you to experience something fun + different. The classics are good too, but the team takes pride in creating new + fun
Beautiful place to take a walk. I went here with my mother and 2 boys. You can make the walk short or long which is always nice. My mom is handicap so sometimes we just take a short stroll but the scenery is always interesting and well kept.
My kiddo has loved this splash pad since he was a baby, has different areas for big and small kids and you can sit on the brick walls to watch! Tons of fun especially for a free activity!

This is the best Mexican Iâve ever had! Itâs flavorful, fast, and the salsa is delicious! The staff are also on it and the food comes out quickly. The portions are also amazing!
