Comfort Inn - Hotel in Pearl - 1226 Phillips Ln, USA

The facility is old and has definitely seen better days, but the rooms were clean. I could tell that the housekeeping staff are hard working and doing a good job. The breakfast serve was very good as well. My issue is one that Management has responsibility for and so reflects on them and not staff. I was not the first floor and perhaps that was a contributor, but on my first night I found a roach on the bathroom floor. I captured it in cup and took it to the Manager in the morning with a request to have an exterminator service the room while I was out for the day. When I returned there was not evidence of the room having been serviced (no residual smell that I would have expected from being bombed) but I was assured since I spoke with the manager that it was "probably" done. Two nights later as I lay in bed there was a roach on the night stand. I collected my items at 2am, went to the night supervisor and requested a change of room to the 2nd floor, which was accommodated. I was leaving the next day so I didn't leave the facility. Again, I don't see this as a problem with housekeeping staff. The room was clean-which is why I gave the facility a high rating regarding the rooms, but if the hotel isn't already doing this, Management should have the facility on a routine extermination schedule, with interim service when guests or staff report bugs. And, I doubt very seriously that the Manager I reported my issue to did anything with my request- hence the poor service rating. I won't be going back to that facility. And, I did report my experience to our Corporate travel agency.

This is the absolute worst experience i have ever had with a hotel in all my life of living on gods green earth. the carpets were wet through out the entire room, bed bugs were biting my wife, roaches were crawling on the wall, mold covered the border trim of the entire hotel room. the sheets smelled like mildew. Do not bring your family to this hotel. i will be pursuing legal action against them without a doubt this place is not suitable for anyone to sleep here unless your selling drugs or homeless.

This hotel is very worn down. The reviews on their website tricked us. The chair in the room was disgusting and my sheets had spots on them. The elevator door makes a noise as it opens and shuts. We didn’t even eat breakfast there because we were worried about how much effort they “didn’t” put into making it.

Never again (CHOICE) can delete my account. ME &MY KIDS will never again stay at one!! Bed bugs and roaches in one night. I had to clean and dry everything and ruin our hairstyles for our trip. 🤬 1226 Phillips Lane room 202 and the manager asked me did I expect a full refund!!!! Why was that even a question, I barely spent 1 night and you can tell they had mutli complaints abo bed bugs when they say oh we haven't had a complaint ab that room before. I said you do know bed bugs and roaches travel, right!. RUN far away. I just made an account with choice. Booked 2 times and that's OVER with!!! I will be posting on every site I can to warn people until choice fixes this issue. Nobody should leave with more then what they bargain for. Trip ruined

I recently stayed at a Choice Hotels property and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The room was stale with poor lighting and insufficient cleanliness. The furniture appeared old and worn, with noticeable mildew and mold on the windows, which was concerning for comfort and hygiene. Overall, it wasn't a good representation of the standards one would expect from Choice Hotels. We appreciate that the hotel staff offered us another room, but by that point, we were not interested. However, we did request a refund, and I'm pleased to say that they honored our request. It's reassuring when businesses prioritize customer satisfaction and are responsive to feedback.

Def not the best experience. Tired and a flat meant I had to stop. Bathroom was a mess.. dirty toilet, bathtub and roaches. I don't even know what the stains on the sheets were...A/C filter looked like it hasn't been replaced since this place was built. Avoid at all cost..

We stayed here overnight on our way from Mobile Alabama. The room was nice, the only problem was it was musty smelling. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast bar is very nice. It is a hot breakfast with eggs, biscuits, bacon, fruit, waffles, oatmeal , cereal and more!!!!
