Is a clean/comfortable place to stay important to you? The Comfort Inn & Suites University, in NW Calgary, is for you. This establishment is located steps from McMahon Stadium and offers-up nicely appointed conventional rooms as well as large, comfortable suites. The latter presents a considerably larger floor plan with 'separate spaces' for the main bedroom, comfortable sitting area with fold-out bed; well appointed 'cleanup' vanity, and private water closet with bath/shower. The large pool with slide and hot tub are great. You'll also enjoy a hot breakfast to start your stay. Ali and Natasha, at the front desk, have a pleasant, professional manner and work hard to ensure your stay is a great one.
The place was great for an overnight stay. A bit of a damp smell in the room and the shower was a bit slippery but overall nice and clean. The breakfast options were as expected. The breakfast area was very crowded when we went in so we sat in the lobby.
The rooms and communal spaces of the hotel were clean. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel continental breakfast.
5 stars for the staff. I had dropped my earring down the bathtub drain. The front desk was very prompt in sending maintenance to help. Anthony from maintenance managed to retrieve my earring and was very professional and helpful.
For the price and location to the University it was great. Woman at the front desk was friendly and checked us in early as we were traveling from a ways away
I looked in the pool area and it looked surprisingly nice for this kind of place. Room was clean and breakfast was nice
For $100 a night it's a great choice basic stay no frills stay
This place is small and comfy. It has free included breakfast with make ur own waffle station. Everything in the room looked clean and well organized. Many towels were provided. Although on my second day there was a smell in the hallway but was taken care of.
Decent stay. Nothing outstanding.||Pros - location (very close to interstate and convenient to downtown, airport, and the Falls/Canada. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great selection of TV channels, plenty of parking, windows in room could open, pleasant staff, price.||Cons - breakfast. The egg product was not very good. And you really need to get hot chocolate for the non coffee drinkers. HVAC unir was noisy. Shower/tub dripped all evening. Desk char albeit comfortable has seen better days. Rooms smallish side (was ok for me as I wasn't in it much). Hallway need some touch up, check in was not the quickest, hallway had faint pot smell covered up with Glade. ||
Very homey and comfortable. The heated pool was awesome, and empty which was so peaceful. The free breakfast was awesome! I booked the hotel for the UB Con event and the breakfast held us all day along with some sandwiches, and we got to spend more of our saved money on anime merch instead of having to pay for meals
The hotel is amazing, the lobby staff is very friendly, the place is super clean, the ladies who work where they serve breakfast are a little angry 😡, they should improve the breakfast area for better service, I would definitely return to this place
WOW! My first time staying here today. I stayed at all brand name hotels around UB for the last two years, and this is the best (most spacious, cleanist, functional, modern, etc.) hotel by far. I am kicking myself for not staying here for the last
Nice clean hotel just a skip and hop from U of Buffalo's north campus. The hotel treats you to a large cookie on arrival. I had a medium sized fridge and a microwave in my King bedroom. Hotel is about 15mins from the airport and airport. Upon arrival
I came in to get my nose pierced and Coco was nice enough to squeeze me in despite being busy. I love the atmosphere and everyone there seemed super kind and I just loved the vibe. Coco was so nice and took an interest in my life despite only being t
Went to the show a few weeks ago... we didn't realize how big of group we had until we got there - They were so amazingly accommodating, making sure all 12 of us could sit together and make sure we had a handicap spot as well! I was so impressed with
First time here and I would definitely come here to chill on my trip to Niagara Falls 20min from the hotel but totally worth it, as soon as we walked the music was amazing, started playing Spanish music lol love it ð recommended hookah flavor blue
We've been sleeping on our new Sterns & Foster mattress for about six months now and we love it. Bill was extremely helpful and facilitated every step of the process with tact and professionalism. Delivery was handled admirably by two very profession
Duffâs wings are mind-blowingly good!
Remember: Medium is HOT!!! So do not order too hot wings or try to challenge yourself because your experience will be ruined! We ordered Duffâs extremely hot âdeathâ sauce on the side and I personally lov
First time going. We brought our 2.5 year old for the Halloween trick or treating event. He had a blast. It only took us about 30 minutes to walk through the whole village but I imagine it would take longer if it got busy. All of the volunteers and s
First time going to the Blue Bull Tavern. We went to watch a Bills game and was very pleased with the place. 3 big screens at the bar and a few others through out the bar area. We didn't get the bartenders name but she was very nice and friendly.
