Comfort Inn Syosset-Long Island - Hotel in Syosset - 24 Oak Dr, USA

We got this room last minute and the rate was perfect. The parking is minimal for the size of the hotel. There is parking on a side street in the back, but at night it seems a little sketchy. The room was ok. The bed really comfortable. It was raining so the TV reception was iffy. The lobby is nice and the staff were friendly. They have lots of cameras around. I would stay again if I needed, just wish the parking was better.

This hotel is one of the best that we've stayed at. We had a death in our family and the gentleman that checked us in on 6/26 was so polite and sympathetic. The breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and spacious and the entire staff was amazing. We will definitely choose this hotel in the future.

My brother booked a reservation for this hotel, and tried to cancel 6 days later. He then found out that his reservation was prepaid, and could not be canceled. He was not told that when he made the reservation. Trying to get a refund has been a nightmare. I emailed the manager and tried calling. He is not responding. After almost 5 months, I talked with the manager, and he gave my brother a partial refund.

Positive: Dog friendly however they charged us an additional $25 per dog per night which unfortunately exceeded the budget i had for the trip. Negative: The room was so extremely humid our bath towels were still wet the next day when we went to shower. The carpeting felt sticky on my bare feet. The free breakfast was weak and we decided to buy an edible breakfast elsewhere.

Great location, very friendly service. Front desk is very kind. Rooms are updated, clean, and a great value for what you pay. Free breakfast too! Parking can be tight but should not deter you from booking here.

I wish I did not see a cockroach on my last night here, i really liked this place and was impressed for the price. i still will return if need a place in this region - for the cost nothing can beat it. just wish didn't see a cockroach...

Positive: Nice room. Liked the balcony feature. Negative: The parking was horrendous. Not enough parking for a full hotel . Had to park down and industrial street and walk about 1/4 Mile in early morning hours alone

Under New Management but still the same old same old with a review from a regular guest. Friendly greetings by the new staff. Check-in was uneventful. Abundant of security cameras newly installed. A budget hotel. Stale marijuana stench waffling through the parking lot, sometimes through the hallways and rooms. Limited parking availability as always. Typically, you have to hunt for street parking after 8pm. Bathroom lighting still poor. No room safes to store valuables. Didn't see the "long term guest's" cars parked in the only 2 member's spots this time.
