Comfort Inn - Hotel in Marion - 2700, I-55 Service Rd, USA

Easy access. Bright clean room and public areas. Helpful staff. The pool was closed for unknown reasons. The room was spacious and quiet despite the proximity to the road. They offered nice hotel breakfast with cereal, eggs , waffles sausage, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt.

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Let’s start with the room…. The room smelled like mildew and the air conditioning unit was covered with mold and hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There was still trash left in the desks from the previous renter. On the chair inside the room it was covered in white stains… god only knows.. (Puke).the curtains and blankets were covered in brown and yellow stains didn’t appear to be clean at all. The service at the counter the man was disrespectful and never even gave me the keys to my room inside the packet until I went back and asked.

Positive: My room had dirty sheets. Dirty comforter. It was not white (the part that was tucked under the bed and had food and stains ). . So it made me feel like the room was not clean. A couple of bugs in the shower Negative: The layout was fine Negative: ""

I stayed at the comfort inn on March 30 and it was wonderful the lady that checked me in was extremely professional she greeted me with respect and made my stay very relaxing I will stay again as a choice member employee I was very impressed with the motel very clean the room was welcoming thank you comfort in for making my stay great

Late and last minute reservation so I expected the worst available room for the price we were charged. I was pleasantly surprised at the size, quality of cleanliness and comfort of our room. The breakfast buffet was superb as well. A small but very adequate workout room was the icing on the cake for me. Our next trip south we will definitely stay here again.

Where do I start. The moment we walked in it smelled bad. Smoky smell like weed and musty. Advertised there was a pool, but it was closed and I found out it’s been shut down for repairs for a long time, yet it’s still on the site. Got to our room. Window AC only blew hot air and ir was 100 degrees outside. Hottest most unfortable night I’ve ever had. Barely slept. Bed was so uncomfortable. Hair and stains all over the bathroom. Ceiling was falling down. This place is a mess. After the first night we asked to move to another room on an upper floor. The front desk person said they were booked full and that wouldn’t be possible. Clearly they were not full. She came down to our room about 5 minutes later and said she got approval from her manager to move us. We moved upstairs and it was a little better but the bathroom was a mess. Overall, this was the worst place I’ve stayed at and I use Choice hotels all the time for their value and rewards. I’m requesting a refund for this place and would like to be contacted or we will take our business and Platinum status elsewhere. 3084404640
