Comfort Inn Metro Airport - Hotel in Romulus - 31800 Wick Rd, USA

We have stayed at this property many of times prior to flying out on vacation. They have a great park & fly package. Just give them a call, the front desk gals are friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean & comfortable. We had dinner in the bar/restaurant & enjoyed the friendly service, food & drinks. Most other hotels at the airport close their restauant/bar on the weekends. So, Comfort Suites was our choice this time.|Upon checkout at 2:30am, the night audit gal was half asleep & wearing a hoody. C'mon now! Not very professional. That is the only reason I gave 4*'s.

Again, the hotel met our needs for a reasonable place to stay near the airport. It was clean and delivered what it promised. The breakfasts were modest. The business center was difficult to make use of. The parking was fine. The room was of a reasonable size. The beds were quite comfortable. Dispite being very near the airport and a road, the room was quiet. All in all, a good choice for our needs.

We had historic amounts of rain overnight. But I don't understand how some water was dripping in from the area above the window. The room was wonderfully clean. Everything worked great. The staff was super nice. The gal at the front desk was amazing at keeping us informed about the attempts by the shuttle bus drive to reach us safely due to the extensive flooding.

Floors were filthy inside. Mud tracked in, carpets on second floor needed vacuuming. Elevators had not been cleaned in sometime. Ceiling in room was peeling near door. Space heater ran off and on, carpets were stained inside our room and worn. At least we had clean towels and bed. I hope. But this Comfort Inn is serviceable as an overnight last resort. The shuttle is a milk run for several hotels and you will wait a long time.

Room was clean and bed was good. The brew in the restaurant was cold, but the restaurant area was not. AC problem?? Eggs and sausage at breakfast were refrigerator cold when I tried them at 5:15am. Had to heat in microwave. Airport shuttle, privately run, was fine.

It’s a friendly environment. It has clean room. Very respectful workers, they provide great breakfast in the mornings, and it’s near by a good amount of food locations and airport. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

This hotel is close to the airport, provides a free shuttle service to the airport and is prompt. The morning breakfast provided a good selection and was tasty. This hotel also has a restaurant/bar which is great for late check ins and not wanting to go out.

The best part was the wonderful staff. They were so friendly and helpful. That isn't something you really expect to find at an airport hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a good rest.
