Comfort Inn Marina on the Monterey Bay - Hotel in Marina - 140 Reservation Rd, USA

No wash cloths in room. Bath towels not bleach white in our room. Room above us had kids that ran back and forth for over 2 hours. Call front desk after about 30 minutes of this. Still continue. Went to front desk after about an hour and complained. Still didn't stop. Would we stay here again. Only on the top floor not very sound proof rooms.

Nice hotel close to Monterey CA and everything. It's across the street from Walmart and offers complimentary breakfast. The customer service was great! This was the quickest check in ever. No fee for parking. I will definitely stay here again

This is a fine hotel if you are a fan of the Comfort Inn line of hotels. (Full disclosure, I am a fan.) They check all the boxes. Clean, comfortable, nice hot breakfast, friendly front desk. This management team is getting it all right. Stay here with confidence you'll be taken care of.

Place was clean and worth the money. My complaint is that I left a tip for our very courteous maid and she did not get it. I left it on the nightstand then later asked our housekeeper if she received it and she said no. I have no idea what happened to the tip but I believe someone other than the maid took it. That’s not right.

I enjoyed my stay there, the room was clean, the bed was nice, the breakfast was decent, always scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, waffles, yogurt, banana, oranges, you can have cereal. They have a small little place to work out, also Walmart is crossed the street.

Had to leave for another hotel it was that bad, at 10.30pm after a long day of travel too. Pubes in the bed, thick layer of dust on multiple surfaces, waxy unclean residue on the bathroom floor - seemed like they had sprayed something in there and walked away rather than mopping the floor. Hot water didn't work, coffee machine didn't work. Multiple surfaces had some slimy spots, didn't appear to have been wiped or cleaned much, if at all. Nothing like the pictures. I get that it is a cheap room, but I was expecting basic and plain not dirty and broken. It's likely one of the cheaper rooms you can get around here, and if you're on a tight budget then maybe you won't have another choice. But if you can, I would avoid this location if at all possible. It's not worth it, honestly it might ruin your vacation. We ended up paying twice as much to go stay at Holiday Inn instead which is plain but at least comfy and clean.

I had a pleasant experience. Was upgraded to a king suite. However, it was a bit noisy. I could hear a lot of what was going on in the hallway and next door. I did feel safe.

Good price. Close to Monterey. Room was decent. Staff was pretty nice. Free breakfast was a mess.
