Comfort Inn Kirkland - Hotel in Kirkland - 12204 NE 124th St, USA

This hotel is a hit or miss. Most of the beds are not great but some are fantastic. Breakfast is pretty good... However, there often seems to be a shortage of eggs available when I am there. The building is old and I suspect it's had some plumbing issues. But the cleaning staff does a good job. I wish they would replace the carpets in the common areas.

Nice easy location. Only had one clerk on staff for check in at 5pm on a Friday on a holiday weekend. Room was decent and clean however could use a little updating (USB ports? ) kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good but same thing every day. (Why have cream cheese but no bagels?)

Our stay here was indeed comfortable and the location is convenient. Our room was clean except for a few hairs on the bathroom floor. Our room door didn't latch on it's own, which is a security issue, you have to shut it tight to make sure it latches. As we were walking down the hallway I saw several other doors that were not latched, so I know this is an issue with other doors as well. The breakfast buffet was appreciated and tasted good, but there is very little seating and several people were taking food back to their rooms because there was nowhere to sit. My girls enjoyed the hot tub and pool. There were towels available and the area was clean.

The staff was great. The pool and hottub were a nice surprise. But the rooms are extremely outdated. There is mold on the bottom floor. It was seeping from the mattress on to the sheets. The room smelled terrible. Everything in the room was wet. The walls, the bed, the floor, the table. I didnt like that a manager (housekeeping or front desk, im not sure) knocked on the door even with a privacy sign. They could have called or left a note. They had a question but im not even sure what she asked. Housekeeping is great and i dont want to say this is their fault but the walls were peeling, the walls had food stains. But they did have fresh towels, sheets and bedding in the room and they helped me with my bags on the way out. They were extremely kind. This place needs an extreme makeover. I couldve stayed somewhere cheaper for better quality. It was the mold and bed that i was really disappointed with. And the hair dryer did not work. I stayed 4 days. I should have switched rooms but it was a hassle becquse i had so much stuff with me so i dealt with it. Do not stay in room 117 and try to stay away from the bottom floor. There is mold and ants. Its none of the workers fault, and more so whoever owns the place.

Low quality & horrible customer service. Our family stayed here a week ago 6/27-6/30 with our son’s team. The rooms are not cleaned well and I made the mistake of not checking the sheets before I got in. Then, I realized my sheets had a large stain and I do not understand how any hotel would put these on a bed. I let the front desk know first thing in the morning (a female wearing a mask). No apologies or customer service efforts, just flat affect & said she wrote a note and housekeeping would change them. I also asked for some toiletries. When we got back at 11pm from a Mariners game, the sheets were never changed and no toiletries brought. Went to the front desk and there was a male employee who just typed on a computer as I told him and said all he could do was switch rooms. It was late and our kids were in the room and we asked if we could just have fresh sheets and put them on ourselves and he said he didn’t know if they had any clean sheets to give us and that was the extent of his efforts. I asked when the manager would be in and he said in the morning. The next morning I went back to the front desk to speak with the manager. I spoke with the original female employee I dealt with (who was wearing a mask). She said the manager April was not there and I asked for her contact information and she wouldn’t give it to me but said I can give my name and phone number and April would call me, but the manager never called me. I told her that housekeeping never changed the sheets and now I’ve slept on dirty sheets two nights in a row and it’s not okay. Again, no apologies and couldn’t care less, just said she’d let housekeeping know to change them.

It’s an ok hotel. When we check in and got to are room there was beard hair in the sink. The shower is horrible it charges from burning hot to freezing cold the whole time. So you never know if it’s going to get burning hot or freezing cold. The towels have black stains on them.

Rooms haven’t been remodeled in a long time but seemed clean and are roomy. That;s the only reason to leave this place standing also. Staff at desk is very unreliable and immature. The maid and maintenance staff is all keeping this place afloat. The Sunday morning desk person just sat cross arm in chair with hoodie up and mask on. They refused to answer questions that required more than a head nod. The Swing shift guy is rude and will bully you at most any chance. I asked for a room away from soda machine as it was too loud on my last stay and he put me in basement. That in no way helped and his co-workers informed me he probably did bully me, that was his nature I guess. I wish I had the loud soda machine room on third floor instead, don’t request a room change or you will be bullied like I was. He will not move out of seat and makes checking in very unsettling. There are 4 self check monitors on desk as you check in one of them will lite up with your data to check. The swing shift guy who checks you in will allow a very uncomfortable pause as you don’t notice your suppose to check your data on one of the 4 screens, he won’t tell you for awhile…. I seen him repeat this on every person he checked in. Not sure why there are 4 screens right at your check in area. Pool area is nasty depending on if staff feel like going out back to check it, outside. Because staff can’t easily get to pool, there are lots of shenanigans out there. The Motel location is right beside a Chick-fil-A and every attempt at entering or leaving the motel is bogged down by that drive up lane they have. Making leaving your motel a possible 2 or 3 times red light wait. I will never be back, that’s for sure. Will stay at Motel 6 across street next time or in next city. For such a bad parking lot situation you would think the staff would be more accepting but it seems that you are a bother to them. Very bad management it is clear. I will be more careful picking my next Comfort Inn type hotel stay that’s for sure. Usually the desk staff are your allies because these motels are cheap and they do what they can to help, not here!

Accueil rapide et chaleureux. L’hotel est propre et dans un endroit plutôt calme. Le parking est suffisamment grand. La chambre avec 2 grands lit est grande et très propre. La climatisation fonctionne bien. Inclus un mini réfrigérateur et un micro-ondes. Il y avait une piscine mais nous sommes arrivés trop tard pour tester. Un petit déjeuner très bien, une bonne surprise pour ce genre d’hotel. Le meilleur, les muffins fabuleux ! Une adresse à recommander proche de Seattle.
