Comfort Inn Ellensburg - Hotel in Ellensburg - 1722 Canyon Rd, USA

Positive: Front desk personnel was very kind and sweet. Negative: My room wasn?t very clean. There was a toothbrush holder left on the sink, the room door was open when I got there (not locked), and the toilet ran so loudly I didn?t sleep at all. Rough night.

It's a basic hotel with a pool / hot tub. Very busy as it is right off the freeway but still quiet in rooms. Having a Dutch Bros in the parking lot is a huge bonus!! Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to stop when you are getting to tired to drive.

Kristie at the front desk was very nice and welcoming, not just to me but to the other gentleman infront of me. This isn’t my first time staying at this hotel and she remembered me, she was very kind and polite, unlike most front desk employees. 10/10

My significant other had ( to clarify to ownership this is the right location) a room booked for 3 months for my 30th birthday after attending a show at the gorge. They cancelled my reservation at 5pm day of check in for "price changes". Didn't offer me to pay the difference and keep my reservation just straight up cancelled without warning. I paid about 120 for the room and they hiked the priced up to 360 a night. I would not recommend a hotel that is this greedy and would leave someone with out a place to stay 1000 miles from home.

Me and three friends booked a room here three months ago in preparation for a nearby concert at the Gorge (not booked in my name), knowing rates would go up as the concert date approached. On the evening of check in, they cancelled our reservation likely because they overbooked and kicked out the cheaper paying customers. Horrible way to treat guests.

Positive: I liked the locatiion, close to the Freeway. Also the Free Breakfast. And the Pool & Hot Tub Negative: There is no Elevator. I am old and it was hard for me to lug my bags up and down the steps. Plus going up and down the steps without any bags. I don't do steps well.

Positive: The location and breakfast. The staff at night allowed the pool to be open until 9:30 pm because we came in at 8:30 and our kids were bummed it was about to close. Negative: The beds weren¿t that comfortable, the room was just ok. The pool closes really early at 9 pm. Thankfully the staff allowed an extra 30 minutes but it makes no sense to close on a Friday night at 9 pm. Most pools everywhere else are open until 10-11 pm. Negative: ""

The first room gagged me with cigarette smoke. Second, still stunk. The third was OK. Big room with comfy bed. The doors slam loudly.
