Comfort Inn Edison - New Brunswick - Hotel in Edison - 831 US-1, USA

I just spent one night at the Confort Inn due to a personal commitment and was greeted with much friendliness and respect the moment I stepped in to the moment I checked out. I felt safe inside and I had all I needed. The rooms were very clean, I could smell and see that everything was looked good and no weird stains or odor. Minimal sound through the walls the bathroom was also big enough too. The hotel includes complimentary breakfast, which I enjoyed a lot, the cooks handling the area were very friendly and clean. Overall a great time for my short stay. Highly recommend!

At first I was pretty skeptical about this hotel when I walked in but I really liked it overall. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice and helpful. I stayed here for one night and had a good night's rest with no disturbance whatsoever. They have hot water for those who need it and they got a waffle maker where you can make your own waffles (the staff helped me operate one which was nice of them). Overall this is a great, budget-friendly hotel.

I was late to check in then I ran into Jennifer at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing. A lady came down and cut her off as she was checking me in and she remained calm and polite when she had every right to let her know how rude she was. Jennifer also helped me with information about what's in the area after a long day of work she made things very simple. Please give her a raise because she deals with the worst behaviors. Thank you Jennifer you are awesome.

Positive: "" Negative: There was a strong chemical smell in the hallways and the rooms. Carpets were slightly wet. Breakfast was so so. The toaster machine handles were broken. One cereal container was empty. There was no toppings like raising or chocolate chips for cereal.

The sleeping room was small in size but okay for the New York area, carper in the hallway (corridors) are very dirty, worn down, and disgusting they need deep cleaning or change, same goes in Sleeping room carpet. Breakfast was limited to minimum choice guide lines, nothing extra. Only one type of each: bread, bagel, and muffin, no water. Lobby refreshing station only had ice water, no flavor. They are doing all they can to save money for the owners. Excellent front desk person all shifts and very good housekeeping

We stayed at this budget friendly hotel for a week. They provided excellent rooms, service, and a basic breakfast that was good and reasonable. Our beds were comfortable, the staff were nice and friendly, and we will be coming back the next time we need to visit!

Very budget friendly without sacrificing quality and service. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very wheelchair friendly. Will definitely stay here again should my travels take me back to Edison.

If there was a zero star option, I would’ve selected it. The front desk staff was extremely rude. I had booked ahead of time and confirmed with choice hotels that my daughter could check in prior to my arrival. They guaranteed that there would be no issue. I paid for the room. Upon arrival, They refused to allow my daughter to check in leaving her in the middle of the night in a crime ridden area with no option. Fortunately, she was able to reach me and I sent her the money to book another room because they canceled my booking. After a very long time and having to pay a fortune for a room because it was last minute, she finally got in. So they did not honor my original booking at all leaving my child stranded. The area is disgusting and the rooms are foul odored and unclean . Jennifer was working the front desk and was absolutely no help at all. I finally had her contact the manager on April 18 Thursday p.m. The manager was equally as useless and rude. I would 100% never recommend staying at this hotel.
