Comfort Inn East Windsor - Springfield - Featured Reviews (305)
We stayed at the Comfort Inn, East Windsor for a very short 2-day stay, in early June 2024. This hotel was very convenient and accessible to area businesses. We were extremely dissatisfied with the room we were in because the bathroom had a pungent moldy smell which permeated through out the entire hotel room. Luckily we brought scented candles with us which helped a little with the smell. We complained to the front desk clerk twice and were told that they were fully booked; could not switch our room to another one. Their only remedy was to place some sort of "scent neutralizing product" in the hotel bathroom in our room. Since our stay was short we didn't make a fuss but the customer service was lacking or nonexistent because we weren't even offered a discount or a refund. Additionally, if you decide to sleep in in the mornings, at this hotel, you'll completely miss housekeeping because apparently they only offer this service during the morning hours/shift. We found this out the hard way when we needed fresh towels in the afternoon and were told that housekeeping was there only in the mornings. Hotel staff did bring towels to our room later on, upon request. All that being said, you get what you pay for when it comes to hotels. That was woefully apparent in this case. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone! This was our first and last time staying at the Comfort Inn, East Windsor-Springfield.
Truly not a bad hotel. It's actually very good considering the price and other hotels in the area. It's right off the highway in a safe location next to a few different food options, a bar, and convenient store. I enjoyed my one night stay, front desk lady was very polite and laid back. Friendly cleaning staff. My room looked great, everything was super clean including the bathroom. I would 100% stay here again if I'm in the area.
This hotel is terrible and racist. On top of that the gm stole my money. She refuses to return my money. And created false documents to say she didn't... Overall this is the worst experience with hotels in my life. The fact that it's independently owned means they go by the tough luck rule. I'm sure all these comments r from people.. who know these people at this low budget hotel.. the fact that they stole my money don't sit right with me .. the only reason I gave one cause I couldn't post this comment if I didn't this hotel needs to be removed asap
My wife and I checked in on Friday may for two days. The young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful and had an easy check-in. After that things went downhill .the elevator didn't look like could have been cleaned in a month. Our room. At first glance things looked very tidy after looking for just a minute. I see fruit loops all over the floor. We let the front desk know but they had no staff to take care of it. We also asked if those are room with a higher toilet because my wife had a knee issue they did not. All the toilets were the very low ones. My bed was very soft. I prefer a firm bed but You never know what you'll get. The next morning I get up to very loud lawn mowers outside. I went down to get coffee. The coffee was decent. But the kitchen area was very dirty. I looked to see what they had. They had no eggs and sausage so I left with my coffee. Came back later. There was no sausage and the eggs were extremely cold. And I went to go get more coffee. No coffee. The floors in that area are very dirty. The guy at the front desk was having to do both jobs, front desk and take care of the breakfast area and he didn't really have enough time to do both. I had another couple sitting behind me in the breakfast area. All I could hear is them complaining about their room and everything else. It's too bad .I've stayed at this hotel before. It was far better than this time I will not be back
We booked a night at the hotel for our anniversary and upon checking in were having issues with the lady in the office. Besides that the lady in the office did not even inform us that there was no hot water in the building, so we are unable to use the amenities in the room, which totally ruins the whole night. When I brought it to the attention of the lady in the office, she said that it wasn’t her problem and that I need to call the Manager in the morning and there’s nothing she can do. This is a violation and everybody should be able to shower and use the rooms. This is very upsetting. And we will not be coming here again.
Stayed here 4/4-4/8. It was just an ok experience. It definitely wasn't the nicest or cleanest hotel I've stayed in. The tile floor upon entering the room was dirty and very sticky, the refrigerator hadn't been cleaned and still had leftover food in it from previous guest, and window was so dirty you could barely see out of it. The room size was ok, beds were comfy. I was extremely annoyed because the cards to the room kept deactivating and I had to go the front desk for new cards every single time I wanted to enter, that was SIX or seven times. Hotel employees were really nice, the free breakfast was good, and it was in a great location. I don't think I would stay there again.
Had a room booked here on 7-18 through the 19th. When we arrived, we were unable to check in. Like everyone else, the hotel staff was unaware of the chaos ensuing with Crowd Strike. What I CAN tell you is the night desk clerk did everything in his capabilities to accommodate all of us, short of hulk smashing open a hotel room door to make sure we all got rooms, and I'm sure if he could have done so without losing his job, he would have. He was beyond gracious, apologetic, and went out of his way to make sure we were refunded. I can tell you my refund was distributed immediately. It was an unfortunate situation that prevented us from getting our rooms, however it also was one FAR from the control of Comfort Inn and Suites or their staff. Little did they know or could they stop a world wide outage. How they responded and handled things to the best of their abilities was what really stood out to me. Next time I am either in Hartford or passing through and need to catch zzzs, I absolutely will stay here. Thanks for everything you did and making the best of a lousy situation that was out of your hands.
The room itself was good for the price segment. It was clean and with no visible issues. Check in was bad, though. The lady didn't even look at me, the only costumer, for a few minutes and preferred to focus on her computer work. When finished, she just said "ID". Breakfast looked bad, even for the type of hotel, so I skipped it.
