We stayed for 8 nights. The bed was super comfortable. The sheets, comforter and pillows were so soft and cozy. I even looked at the tag to check out the brand and will be ordering some for my bed at home. Room was clean. My husband enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. I was not too impressed with the eggs. And breakfast ended at 9:30. Wish there was more variety. The one one negative I have was the room was a bit musty and damp. It was hard finding the right setting on the air conditioner to dry it out. My clothes felt damp at certain times, and so was the bedding. This is our second time using this Comfort Inn, and will most likely use it again.

For the last year i have been a regular patron of this establishment. I' m a self- employed certified massage therapist, I live in Flint , but i go to the metro Detroit area 1 or twice per month for business. And i would always stay at comfort inn troy. In the beginning everything was great and i had zero complaints. But around last June, when i checked into my rm. I had noticed the cleanliness had declined quite drastically. There were hairs in sink, trash left under bed and the room itself had a slightly funny smell. But i always travel with cleaning supplies so it wasn't that serious. But unfortunately during a massage appointment i had ( which requires some degree of silence) around 11:30 pm. The next door room children were crying, screaming and kept slamming the door , for the whole 60 min. Appointment. I was very embarrassed to say the least! So once i returned home , i decided to call them and let them know of my negative experiences and see if any accommodations could be made for my next stay. I was not given an exact amount for a discount or told i would be accommodated . But the lady did say " I'll out a note next to your name. Just mention it to front desk next time and they'll accommodate you. " for the next couple months i was out of state, so fast forward to last night. I had several clients wanting to book appointments in metro Detroit. So, I called to make a reservation for a room on Saturday. And I mentioned my previous experience and how I was told I would get an accommodation for the inconvenience. The lady told me the only thing she could offer was to give me the weekday price instead of the weekend. Which is literally only $10 difference. I obviously found that unacceptable, and was frustrated but for some reason decided to give them a second chance and book the room anyway. When I arrived, I was told by the lady at the front desk that a deposit was not required.( which in the 10 + times i stayed in the past was never the required or mentioned. (Nor was there any mention of it to me on the phone while i was making my reservation and i very politely explained that to her . ) she was very rude , abrasive and confrontational for no reason. After 5mins of arguing, she finally agreed to wave the deposit fee. Long story long, unfortunately it was basically the same story as last time. Subpar cleaning, loud neighbors next door, and I could also smell marijuana while walking down the hallway. As a businessman myself, I find this completely unacceptable and reprehensible on the part of the hotel. And I would call and complain again. But clearly the front desk people do not value loyal return customers. Because not only was I not accommodated for the inconveniences, there was literally no apology and clearly no respect on their part.

This hotel was the most disgusting hotel I ever been to in my life. What a horrific experience I had while visiting this hotel, my bed when I pull back my sheet had old blood stains. And the bed was filled with pee stains. They also tried to have me look at two other rooms and both of those rooms were also very dirty. It had used condoms and duct tape on things that were broke and the beds were very dirty in the other rooms too . I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone very disgusting and disturbing. I had to leave and find me a new hotel in the middle of the night.

Do not stay at this motel! They use the jacuzzi room to secretly spy on guests! It’s coincidentally right next to a janitor closet which they can look thru a two way mirror to see guests thru! The front desk clerks worked here and at the Baymont inn in Madison heights. Don’t go there either!

i travel a lot for work. my coworker and i came to this hotel two weeks ago, and found the room to be filthy. she notified the front desk of the problem and they switched us to another room. it was still gross, but it was late so it was good enough. our job books us at the same hotel again tonight. we get checked into the same exact room with the same exact boogers on the wall and hair on the floor. there was blood stained on the sheets. there was a plastic tag from clothes on the floor, as if the room hadn’t even been vacuumed. there was poop on the wall by the toilet paper holder (not pictured). we tell the front desk, again, of the problems. they’re booked up for the night, unless we want a single. we didn’t want to share a bed. they give us the key to a single across the hall so we can use that bathroom. housekeeping hadn’t even been by. the bed was unmade, the soap was used, the towels were used, someone had left their cup. when we stayed two weeks ago, we tried to take advantage of the continental breakfast. the food was completely inedible. this time, we called our supervisor and went to the fairfield in two miles away. i don’t recommend this hotel at all.

We only stayed one night, but it was pleasant. There were no surprises, which is exactly what I want from a hotel. The room was clean. The furniture looks like it was reasonably updated. Sheets and towels were clean. The bed and sheets were comfortable. There are some nice details as well, like the reading lights and USB ports at both sides of the bed. The staff were friendly, and we received text messages checking up on us at the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and free. I have no major criticisms. Troy (and Clawson) are not pedestrian-friendly, but that's not the hotel's fault. If you're a light sleeper, it's worth keeping in mind that the air conditioner is the smaller variety and they can be a little noisy. Ours was on the louder side, but it wasn't too bad and we slept just fine. The bathrooms are excellent. Like the room itself, they have been updated recently. The lights flanking the bathroom mirror are another nice touch - my fiancée found it very helpful when applying makeup. The shower is tall-person friendly, which is greatly appreciated. This is a hotel. It does its job well. It is comfortable, clean, quiet, and reasonably priced.

Positive: Staff was friendly, location was perfect and the room was very clean! Negative: We tried to enter through the back entrance but our key card didn¿t work after only being there one day for a 4 day stay. The parking lot was very small and the bed was a little too soft. Minor things and we still had a pleasant stay. Negative: ""

I loved my stay. Didn't want to leave yet. The room is comfortable and climate control works great on hot July days. Food within walking distance. Sushi restaurant next door. Complimentary breakfast every morning. I could find nothing to dislike about this location.

Wow! Everything was delicious. I tried the Chorizo, bang bang shrimp, chimichurri, and rock n rye bbq tacos. The flavors, the spice, everything.... Phenomenal. The street corn was 🔥 and the salsa was ridiculous too. Super impressed with the food.

I normally don't bother leaving reviews for fast food places, however this Del is always on point and deserves recognition. The staff is talkative and friendly, the food always is fresh and hot, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained.
