I had a delightful stay here. I'd stayed at another Comfort Inn not far from this one a few months back and the experience was very different. The rooms here were much cleaner, the breakfast was better and the staff was much more hospitable. Ann, Linda, and the Night Mgr whose name I cannot recall but who has worked at this location for 16 years (wow, better give this man a gold watch when he retires!) were all fantastic. I will stay here again next time I'm in Aurora.
Comfort Inns are my go-to when i stay anywhere because they have a consistent quality that i have grown to know and love along with economical pricing. Overall, the room itself was good. Beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and well stocked. A few minor blemishes but nothing that affected our stay. The front desk was very nice and got us into our room quickly, which I appreciated as we got in pretty late and were very tired.
The bad... breakfast and the breakfast area... breakfast starts at 6:30 and we came around 7:30 and everything was running low and the counters were very messy. I did like the selections that were given, but it didn't seem that any of the staff cared to keep it clean or stocked. I stayed in the dining area for well over 45 min, and no one came out to clean up or restock. This was quite disappointing as I have come to expect a much better level of service from the Comfort Inn brand.
If I could give a -5 stars, I would. This place is disgusting with numerous amounts of damages to furniture and fixtures in the room and the outside is even worse. The property is surrounded by homeless people leaving trash spread out everywhere. The absolute worst part is by far the staff. Every single stuff member are the most unpleasant and extremely rude people I've ever come in contact with. I jus came to visit a friend staying here and have had this horrible experience. I cant imagine paying a dime to stay in a place like this. My friend will be checking out today to get far away from the negative, even evil at times, staff members at this location. I would recommend never making an online reservation or even coming here to visit someone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LESS THAN HUMAN!!!!!!!!
Quiet area, good size room for what we needed. Minimally stocked kitchen, but decent enough for one night. Concerned with safety and health, as we found a bullet hole in a window, and the breakfast muffins were obviously moldy. Difficulty communicating with most staff.
It's good hotel and the owners usually there in the Morning are very nice and respectful. Good location for transportation and close to the highway if you have a car. And overall good customer service through out the day.

(The following is my personal opinion based on my experience staying 150+ nights here over the years)
I've stayed 70 nights at this location this year alone, I'm a Diamond Member through Choice Hotels. That's over $7000 I've spent this year at this location. They've never had a single issue with me in 5 years of staying off an on. (Stayed 30 nights last year) I've stayed in many of the rooms.
I used to love staying at this hotel until this current wave of management or new owners came in. It has a sentimental value to my family and I and I was willing to overlook things for a time but no more. There is a $100 deposit requirement in case of damages, however you'll find that many of the rooms are already in poor shape. Sheets and floors have stains, damage to doors and furniture, etc. Im not sure how they distinguish who made the damages. In my opinion the $100 charge is to disqualify individuals who only have enough for the room which are going to be predominantly people of color in this area. I've seen many turned away and not checked in because they were unaware of this charge despite already paying online. If a deposit is required for damages you should receive a room without damages
I had a terrible situation arise where a paycheck was lost. Despite paying for so many nights, no assistance was offered. My three children and I were given until 1pm to check out and rushed off the phone. Despite this treatment, I had an Organization that was trying to book me a 14 day reservation at the hotel.They contacted Comfort inn and they refused to take their call. This organization emailed trying to pay for our reservation and was told that they declined the reservation because they DO NOT partner with Non Profit Organizations!? They heard the words "Non-Profit" and declined a two week paid reservation because they thought we were asking them for something. It's greed in its purest form.
Staff is constantly being cursed out by guests, I've been awoken several times by guests in a screaming match with the front desk. They just threaten to call the police and refuse to hear or listen. There is no hospitality here, no care or service, this is a cash flow producing asset. Cleaning ladies are very rude, they have an attitude with any request. They seem to watch people of color very closely when taking advantage of the "free breakfast" of powdered eggs and orange juice from concentrate. A family member seemingly does all the repairs, the cheapest materials are used. The Hotel seems to be minimally maintained likely to maximize profits that would appear to take priority over the customer who provides it.
I will not stay at this location again. I feel sick to my stomach that I've given so much money to people who could care less if I lived or died despite being a GREAT customer.

Just save yourself the anxiety of worrying about being safe because you are most definitely in a danger zone if you stay here.
Top that with the filthy room that smelled like wet dog. A shower that leaked into the carpet even though we never turned it on. The furniture looking rough. The bedspread all torn up.. The criminal activity in the parking lot. Oh my the list goes on and on.
I'm leaving this review so you've been warned. I was not warned and I had paid in advance.... I was stuck with this poor choice...
Overall clean. Rooms as expected for 2 star hotel. Location was convenient to immediate area & highway. Multiple front desk staff during day were very rude, multiple times! Do not recommend staying here if you can avoid it.
This is an excellent Hampton Inn! Everything looked new and was all very clean and fresh.

1st time checking out Parkside Eatery & Taco Choi. Very tasty however I think it would improve the appearance and food if each taco had its own unique sauce and or toppings to give it more flair and flavor.
This Nature Center is completely FREE! It has so many displays, interactive toys, nature books, and live animals (snake, turtle, and a lizard!) It is so wonderful!!!!
