Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near LAX Airport - Hotel in Hawthorne - 11500 Acacia Ave, USA

I stayed here for 2 nights, my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did see a small bug on my last day there but with people cooking in the rooms there's bound to be bugs. The room has a small kitchen with a stove top, full fridge and microwave. No dishes or pans though, you might have to ask the front desk for that. I like that there is a gated parking garage available for free but it's not connected to the hotel so you have to walk back to the hotel. The distance is very short there is a house in between the parking garage and hotel. Laundry is available for $2. The breakfast is pretty good. Checking in was fast but there is not really a place to park to get that done.

Spent about a week there. Asked for the room cleaned but never happened. Parking is a nightmare here. They don't actually have a parking lot and use a neighboring parking garage. The breakfast area is so packed, it's impossible to get a quick meal. They seemed to have converted a closet area into the food area. When leaving, my folks left my back pack in the room. They didn't call me about it at all but when I called they did have it behind the counter. Got the back pack with my stuff back missing my 2 unopened vapes. Guess I'm glad they didn't steal more. Would recommend any other location... There are a bunch of other hotels right next door. Avoid this one at all costs.

Pros: Location is close to airport. All the amenities they list they provide. Cons: Free parking is street parking. Facility is dated. Would not recommend for the smell sensitive. Room & Amenities: Rooms have a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Pool is clean. Service: Most of the staff was very friendly and answered my questions about the area. Location: This is where the price makes sense, otherwise this should be an under $100/night hotel. Value for Money: Location included, average. Summary: The neighborhood looks rough but we had no problem walking 10 at night to grab some tacos nearby. The breakfast is hot, there is a business center, and parking is free. While not as cheap as it could be, still a value to be had for the convenience.

This is my second stay here. Parking is no good because they don’t have a parking lot. As for the room, it appears to be clean, but when I sat down to eat my dinner at the table, there was syrup on the table. And this morning when I took a shower, there was long hair on the tub. So this leads me to believe that the room isn’t as clean as it looks. If the hotel staff would have wiped the table, there would not have been any sticky syrup on it (I wiped it in 5 seconds, all gone), and if you would clean the bathtub completely, there would be no hair….

Just had a 2 night stay. |After reading reviews I was a bit concerned. |I was presently surprised. If the room had been bad I would not have stayed. |Our room was on 2nd floor. It was dated but clean. Beds comfortable. We had a small kitchen with fridge/ freezer coffee making facilities and microwave. Staff were polite and helpful. Only draw back there was no safety deposit box |Breakfast was included, it was OK nothing to write home about but it did the job. The kitchen area was bit cramped at times as very small |There was also laundry facilties. The washing machine was free but a dollar for detergent and dryer was 2 dollars |There are few places to eat nearby.|||

Good accommodations. Our room had a kitchenette, hotel was clean and well maintained. The pictures are from when we checked out.

I traveled here to the area for a Greta Van Fleet concert and stayed at this hotel. Overall, it was wonderful! The staff was very nice, the room was nice, clean, spacious, and very quiet. I really love the kitchenette part of the room. I thought the breakfast was fine but could be a little better, and that the room needs updating (but it’s not a huge issue). Price was great as well. Next time I come to town I would definitely stay here again.

The location is nice and gives off a tropical vibe. However, the actual hotel, the rooms, and the service are sub-par and can be improved greatly from the experience I had. I am bound to give a one-star rating for the three aforementioned categories. However, they are truly 0 stars.
