Comfort Inn Avon-Indianapolis West - Hotel in Avon - 8229 E US Hwy 36, USA

Stayed here on May 18th. Arrived to check in at 4:30 and was told our room was almost ready. We waited another hour and while I was on the phone with customer service...suddenly out room was ready. There was crack in the ceiling and days old food in the refrigerator. Upon opening the refrigerator out room was engulfed in a terrible odor. We threw the food out but the refrigerator was unusable. Front desk was unapologetic about not having the room ready and basically said it is what it is. When I asked for an explanation he got really rude. Will never ever stay here or possibly never stay at another hotel represented by this company. The room was also 200$ a night, and the pool was closed.

Positive: Location, price, and breakfast. Negative: The room carpet had at least 2 places where there was a large black stain, possibly wetness/mold? One of the wash cloths was stained. We had to leave before breakfast was ready one morning, but the grab & go selections that were available were still good.

Was checked in and the TV never worked well from the get go. It would shut off on its own and they didn't have a spare tv. Now we were not in the room for a long time, but their pool also did not work and was out of service. I paid through this through a third part and they also tried to fraudulantly charge my credit card after I left for an amount that didn't even correlate to the room prices. The room was terrible. It was very musty, and things were not exactly clean. You had to tell them to clean your room daily and we were never told this at the front desk. I would never stay at this facility again.

The staff was ok. The sheets are disgusting. It’s like staying in a motel. Don’t do it. Especially not for the pool that doesn’t work. Sheets are extremely disgusting. We noticed the last day the big pee stain. Like why not retire them??? And the room stinks! Definitely not for a family.

Windows in the rooms don't open and we were told as we made reservations (which we was only 3 hrs out" there is a pool. They failed to say we'd have to drive 2 blocks away to use another hotels pool.

This is THE WORST I mean the ABSOLUTE WORST ROOM I have ever been in. The smell in the room is like the most disgusting port a potty. The mattress had been removed??? And we were given an air mattress! The cover of the box springs looked like it had been vomited on. The manager thinks this is acceptable??? Would she have slept here?? Wow! What a way to treat a paying guest. And... the curtains, stained of course, on the 1st floor do not even close & we face the parking lot. No shower curtain. Could it be any worse???

We had a great stay at the Comfort! We will definitely be staying here when in the area. Janet and Kayla were great housekeepers that were on it during our stay. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Be careful, staff will harass you. Janet in particular. Never even stayed there, never met her, she just works with someone who is immature and dislikes me and assaulted me outside of business hours elsewhere. however janet went and stalked my Facebook harassing me afterward the next day. Weird behavior. Just know this place will not help overcome issues either. They don't care that their employees are trash. Also the other reviews talking about a tyler guy being on drugs and rude, not surprised, that's the husband of the lady that assaulted me, and he is on drugs and was fresh out of prison at the time. Nothing but trouble. This place could do better. They choose not to. I only leave this review after contacting management multiple times trying to resolve the issue, just to be told she has the freedom of speech to say what she wants... So, since that's the case, I guess this is just my freedom of speech warning to the public.
