Comfort Inn Asheville Airport - Featured Reviews (501)
When your house is getting a new a/c installed and you have 4 cats that can't stay at home, while workers are going in and out for 2 days. The room I rented is extremely large sweet which means it is.It has a king-size bed and a separate area with a couch. Lots of room for my 🐈's to run around or just hide. It's extremely clean, and it doesn't smell like any animal at all has been here before. The lobby assistance was friendly and helpful. In all, I would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you have animals, but even if you don't.
My family and I had a great experience at this hotel. We were able to check in earlier with a fee of course. Everything was clean, considering they allow dogs. We really enjoyed the free continental breakfast. Front desk was great and accommodating.
So, we stayed here twice in July 2024 as it was a good halfway point between home and the beach in SC. I would give visit #1 a 4 star and the second visit 2 star. Breakfast was available on both stays. Good coffee. Juice, toast, bagels and muffins were available. Eggs (precooked?) were ok, but the sausage was good. I made a decent egg and sausage sandwich with provided hot sauce. Waffle maker was available. Room on first stay was clean and comfortable. Room was located close to an outside entrance, which was perfect as we had a dog with us, and it made walks easier. We asked for the same room for return stay, but we got room across the hall. Same convenient location, however, room had a very musty smell, and the floor was dirty. Socks were noticeably dirty after walking in room. Bathroom door would not close and seemed warped on the bottom. Perhaps water damage? Since we have a dog and location is very convenient, (right off of I-26 and lots of restaurant choices) I really would like to choose Comfort Inn again, but the second stay had a lot of concerns.
We enjoyed our stay here. Beverly checked us in and was very efficient. She also was very accommodating for us to use the lobby to visit with family that live in area.|Our room was very clean. Towels were fluffy and new. Bed and linens were more than satisfactory.|Pet fee… a little stiff but I can see why as we travel with a kitty and have seen pet rooms that were nasty. No sign nor smells from previous pets.|Breakfast was the usual fare of waffles, eggs, sausages, yogurt, toast, dry cereals, etc. It was good and had lots of choices.|We would definitely stay again. It was clean, quiet and comfortable.|Kudos to housekeeping, management and staff. Keep up the good work!!
Room needed several repairs. There was tape on the wall to hold things in place. The bathroom doors handle was hanging, and the room door had to be forcefully closed. Also the ac did not blow strong. Was given a different room the next day but no discount for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Avoid! Avoid the mistake I made staying here. Room clean, but needs renovation. Lumpy bed. 3/4 size toilet. Dead batteries in TV remote ... desk replacement remote not compatible with TV ... no TV. One small elevator. Airport to hotel shuttle had been confirmed but was a no show. After 15 minutes myself and three others had to call and wait another 10 minutes before the shuttle arrived. Breakfast? Opens at 6am. I went at 6:15am. The website photo of the breakfast is a deception (shown with review). Waffles, bacon, and sweet rolls are available only on weekends. You have a selection of greenish (powdered?) "scramble eggs", rancid sausage, hard biscuits and harder bagels. Or select a packet of dry oatmeal (tepid water provided) ... but there were no grits. Cold? You have a choice of 3 dry cereals, milk apparently available only on weekends. The most disgusting: the sludge called coffee. Public areas are well maintained. Good amenities include an indoor pool. Great location ... but better accommodations are within sight. Beware! Be wise! Be warned to book accommodations somewhere else.
This is our second time staying here while flying out of Asheville airport. It’s Very convenient to airport and several local eateries. They provide a very clean facility with a polite staff. The grounds very neat kept. We were on the first floor and had very little noise .
Positive: Great location. Slightly weird streets but that's a city problem. Right of the highway. Plenty to eat. Asheville is only a short jaunt up the highway. The bed was firm, the pillows shift, the desk big enough for my laptop and a few take out containers. Negative: The fridge yelled at me the whole time, but everything else was great. Negative: ""
My wife, my children and I, had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near surrounding restaurants and businesses, the hotel is very clean and quiet, the rooms are adequately sized, the staff is extremely nice and welcoming

My favorite Japanese restaurant South of Asheville. They are very timely with their orders and everything is always super delicious. I recommend number 3 or number 4 on the entre list. The food always seems very very fresh. And the staff is friendl
Came here for the first time with my elderly folks. Our server went out of her way to accommodate their dietary restrictions. Great atmosphere, outstanding food, and incredible service.
