This has been one of THE most enjoyable stays I've ever had at a hotel. It is conveniently located, yet out of the way of traffic. It is very quiet here. I haven't heard a peep out of anyone the whole time we've been here. It almost feels like we're the only ones here! Breakfast is absolutely amazing and the attendant (Sue) is phenomenal at her job! She's friendly and full of joy. She is so helpful and happy! She keeps it spotless as well! The Breakfast is the best I've ever had at a hotel. The beds are so comfy that, for the first time ever at a hotel, my hubby and I slept late every single morning we were there. Price was great. Grounds and facilities were always clean. I can't think of a single negative thing to say. This will be our "go to" hotel anytime we are in the area.
I travel a lot for work. My coworkers and I are typically in a hotel 4 nights per week. We stay in a lot of Comfort Suite hotels because they have the room we like for 3 guys (double queen suite with a pull out sofa), and typically for a reasonable fare. During our stay, I had no complaints. Staff seemed friendly, room was clean, etc. Particularly the lady who runs breakfast is great! She's got some character and she's very upbeat!! My issue is with the management. I noticed several days after our 4 night stay here that I had been double charged for one of the nights. I stopped by the hotel to talk to them about it and the man at the desk was able to find the error, but could not process the refund as he was not a manager. Stated his manager would be in, in a couple hours. So I left my information, was told I would receive a call and they would take care of it. No call... called the next day and was told "the manager never came in, but she will be in tomorrow, and you will receive a call, I promise". Guess what, still no call... I call a couple days later, making sure I call in the middle of the day so I can speak with the manager, and I finally do. She told me the refund had already been processed. Took over a week later for that to show up. That's cool and all, but I would feel different about the situation if they had called me as expected. On top of that, no apology for the error, no apology for all the effort I had to put forth to make sure I received my money back, no apology for never contacting me about THEIR mistake. The room was booked through a third party. I paid them and was then charged the third party rate on the credit card I provided for INCIDENTALS. Then, during this final phone call, I discussed with them an additional $15 charge. I was told this is because we stained their towels. Not sure how that's possible when we only used them to shower and wash our hands with. The manager stated she had photos, promised to send then to me and then never followed through. I'm starting to see a trend with this manager. My guess is the towels were dirty, with DIRT. We work outside, so when we wash our hands or step on the bath mat, things get dirty. But that's the beauty of a washing machine. It gets the dirt out. Seems that wasn't a considered option. Am I supposed to bring my own towels if I expect them to get dirty? At any rate, I may have felt differently if they had contacted me and let me know, "hey, your towels were dirty, we tried to clean them, but couldn't get the spots out. I'm sorry but we're going to have to charge you $15 for their replacement." Instead, it felt more like a blind charge for something that wasn't true with no contact, hoping the customer (me) would not notice as a way to generate a little extra revenue during their renovations. Whether or not that is the case is unclear. But that's the feeling I get from the way this hotels management is run. Again, no issue with the staff other that the accidental double charge. Problem here is with the hotels management. If you read this, I still want those photos of my "stained" towels please.
My sisters and I recently spent a few days in Boerne. We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites just a couple minutes from Main Street. We had adjoining rooms which made it easy to visit easily with each other. |Our rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable, and updated. We declined house keeping but they delivered clean towels and more coffee & cups to us. |The included breakfast was very good and included hot and cold options. A very friendly, and sweet lady, Alex, working in the breakfast room, was a real pleasure to meet and talk with. She was helpful in advising things to do and see in the Boerne area. |This Comfort Inn is a great value for the price and I will certainly return when I am in the area again!
Right off the 10 Freeway, yet close to downtown. Staff very efficient, clean, well-kept up. Rooms large, including bathroom. Housekeeping very good. Quiet. Beds comfortable; slept well. Free convenient parking; no "resort" fee. Would rate value much better than other brands in the area. Refreshing pool and large exercise room!
1st off Amanda she was freaking awesome. Omg she helped me and another couple get in as a choice member with excellent priced rooms. Especially since we didn't have rooms requested. The breakfast looked amazing. Clean rooms. Soft water and I know water I work I'm filtration. |I want to thank y'all very much. Amazing experience.
My husband booked this because of the full breakfast offered and it was wonderful! The hostess waited on us with a joyful attitude and the fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. were good - plentiful and delicious. She even cooked my husband's waffle for him and heated up my Danish without me asking. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. :)
I arrived at 3am and the gentleman working the front desk, Brian, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. He checked me in quickly so I could get some sleep. I was grateful the cleaning crew was thorough, as my bed and pillows were meticulously clean and well made. The bathroom was sparkling. When I checked out, both ladies were kind. I would absolutely recommend!
The checkin staff was very helpful and understanding. They helped find places within walking distance as my car had burned up on the highway! The room was clean and had plenty of space. Breakfast was wonderful. Amanda S had a great smile that could cheer up anyone!!
