We are from a little north of Toronto, and we have friends in Kent. We like staying in Streetsboro as it’s in the middle of two people that we visit. This time we tried comfort inn. Honestly, it’s an absolutely fantastic hotel for the price. Last year we stayed at quality inn and it was disgusting. I didn’t have many complaints this time with comfort inn. The lady who checked me in (Chris I think?) we very sweet and very accommodating. The room was incredibly clean. I felt comfortable walking on the carpet in bare feet. The sheets were sparkling white and the bathroom was immaculate. The breakfast offered is pretty standard fare. I will say the orange juice was awful. (Tasted like it went bad or something). But the blueberry waffles and pastries were delicious! We didn’t get the chance to go to the pool but it was open from 10 am to 8 pm. My only gripe is that I wish it was open later. Like maybe a 10-10 or something. I took off a star because while the room was clean, they definitely need to do some renovations. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. It was a very high ceiling so you don’t notice it much but it did need help. Also they desperately need new shower heads. Water was kinda shooting out all over the place. The bathroom faucet is too short for their vanity so you hit the sink when you’re washing your hands. All in all, great value for the money. We will definitely come back! We had a great stay.

This hotel reeks of mold and has so many ants in the bathroom. The staff are very nice for the most part but alot of them speak very broken english. The rooms were cleaned but the overwhelming stench of mold ruins the atmosphere. The pool closes at 10 P.M. they have a decent workout room and an ok standard breakfast. Your room includes a coffee maker, a refrigerator and a microwave along with an iron and alarm clock. The price of the room is kind of high it is more like an $80.00 a night type of room. The vending machine only takes 1 dollar bills, the selection is sparce, the items are small and each of the items are $2.00 a piece. If they could rid the moldy stench and get rid of the ants I would give them more stars and it could be a nice affordable hotel. Hopefully they read my review and correct the issues asap

Nice place, staff was friendly. The room was clean. We were there to watch a college golf tournament, which happened to be the weekend of the eclipse so the price was more than I wanted to pay but what are you gonna do. I'd go back if my usual place wasn't available.

The first time I stayed here, it was a typical hotel experience. I stay at hotels 4 nights a week for work all over. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels. Thousands of nights. This was my worst experience. Firstly, when I called to make the reservation, I had a VERY difficult time communicating with the man making my reservation. I get to the hotel to check in around 8 pm June 17th, 2024. I walk into the lobby, and there's a younger woman standing in the lobby. I smiled and started walking to the front desk. She greeted me by saying, "Yes?" In an off putting tone. I said I have a reservation. She walked around the corner and behind the desk. She then put her phone onto speaker phone.. I hear a man speaking on the line. I think this is sort of odd. Most people don't keep their phone calls going while they're working, let alone put it on speaker phone and have someone chattering in the background. I provided my payment card and ID. She then asks me if I have a reservation. I replied yes. Again I started the conversation by stating I have a reservation. Next, I provide my ADA certification (identification cards) for my service dogs. I have 2 highly trained and well behaved service dogs who travel with me for work. One is ready for retirement and the other is almost ready to take over duties. She then tells me "no". "No animals". I calmly explain to her they're services animals and I've stayed here before with no issue. She said "no". Straight faced, no explanation. So now after my 12 hours shift I have to calmly explain the federal laws and how I actually can stay here and I have stayed here before. She AGAIN responds "no" at this point I asked to speak to a manager. She gets her phone and starts texting her manager. Also, there's been a man on her phone chattering this entire time. Now, they're literally breaking the law. In all the years I've been traveling with a service animal this has never happened. So I got my phone out to record what was happening. Since this is illegal and considered discrimination. I noticed a sign on their wall stating that "service animals" are allowed. I point out the sign, and she completely ignores me speaking to the man on her phone while texting her manager. She apparently got a response and told me "no, not allowed". So I ask her. "You're refusing to give me a room because I have service animals that I've provided documents for?" (By the way, most hotels do not require documents. You legally do NOT need to show the documents I do because I don't want situations like this happening to me). In fact, requesting documents is illegal. She responds by saying "emotional support animals not allowed". I tell her they're not emotional support animals they're service dogs. Certified. With documents. She takes a picture of their ID cards. Now she texts her manager again. Also still a man on speaker phone chattering in the background. Now we're sitting there waiting for a reply so I take a picture of their plaque stating service animals are allowed. I'm still recording audio at this point. We get a reply from her manager saying it's okay... of course it's the law. She hands me my room key and then pulls her hand back. She says to me "open your phone and delete pictures of me" I don't have any pictures of her on my phone. I tell her this. "She says yes you do I do not want my picture taken". I literally don't have a picture of this woman on my phone! "Open your phone" she says. She wants me to open my gallery and show her my photos? I said no I'm not opening my gallery for you. She's holding my keys hostage at this point after the rooms been charged on my card. I give in, show her my gallery. I've been working out in the 95° sun all day. I'm exhausted need to eat, drink some water, take a shower and sleep. I delete one of the photos I took at work since I don't have a photo of her. Show her and delete it. She then says "now delete your trash". She literally makes and watches me delete a bogus photo out of my trash. Do not stay here support a friendly hotel.

Really 1 maybe 2 of the staff could even say hello (Chris is great). The property is aged and hasn't really been updated. They get by, but the brand standards seem to be forgotten about.

Hotel was alright, I just stayed one night for my cross country road trip. Pool hours were strange; they closed early at 8. My chain lock on my door was also not even present, which made me feel a bit uneasy. Staff was very neutral in interactions, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was in a fairly quiet area with many restaurants nearby, although staff in the fast food restaurants were extremely inefficient. Expect to wait a long time to get food. The hotel looked very clean, rooms were clean, beds comfortable, except the tub was in serious need of caulk. Be aware on weekends breakfast is an hour later at this hotel, 7am instead of 6am. I can't comment on breakfast since i'm writing this waiting for it, but looks to be the usual breakfast fare. The one thing I haven't experienced in other hotels, and seems to be policy at this one, is that they left my invoice on the carpet outside my door in the morning, because they "couldn't slide it under the door." I didn't like the fact my information is sitting out in the hall [not credit card info though]. When asked they said they've always done that. I've always been asked at checkout whether I want a printed invoice .. so this was a first for me. I didn't appreciate it. If you want your privacy safeguarded, ask at check in for them not to do this in the morning.

Do yourself a favor, and take your business elsewhere. The owners are all huge jerks, incredibly rude and argumentative. They barely speak English, but the few words that are understandable are impolite at best - and their non-verbal language reemphasizes that they are inhospitable, stingy, mean people who don't treat anyone with decency or respect.

Love this place! Everytime I go I always find something for a great price. The staff is friendly. Building is Clean. My only complaint is I wish there was more of a plus size section. Worth the stop!

We love the iced hot chocolate. The employees are always smiling and nice. The "little bean" on the top of the cup is my son's favorite part!
