Comfort Inn & Suites St. Pete - Clearwater International Airport - Hotel in Clearwater - 3910 Ulmerton Rd, USA

The hotel itself is just ok. It's generally pretty scruffy. It has a VERY high occupancy rate and worn and grimy furniture is a product of that turn-over. With the exception of the manager the staff is especially friend, helpful and professional. The breakfast is quite good for a budget hotel. I had a suite and it was very roomy. The towels were plentiful and fluffy. The bed was firm. The sofa and chair were both "well-used". Separate semi-kitchenette counter, sink, and refrigerator. The refrigerator was missing some interior parts i.e. a bar on the door and the drain so water accumulated in the bottom of the frig. I've stayed there twice and would again because it's reasonably clean and.the price is great for St. Pete area.

Enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn, in Clear Water FL. The only downside was not enough staff to actually run the hotel the way it should be run. Rooms were not refreshed daily, and we had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper etc. The best part of the whole stay was the morning breakfast that they gave free to the people that were staying at the hotel. Extremely good food well-cooked, and the staff that ran the kitchen were very attentive to everything. That time of the day was what boosted at the four stars. And yes, I would stay at another Comfort Inn.

Arrived 6/29 at 11:40PM after having to leave another motel that we had booked and paid for due to the state of the room. The gentleman at the front desk was great. He was kind and empathetic, he got us booked into their last room they had. He said if we had any issues with the room to let him know and he would personally address them. 10/10 service, room was good, beds very clean and comfortable.

We booked a one-bedroom suite for three nights while staying in the St. Pete/Tampa area. We wanted something that was close to the beaches, but not at the 'close-to-the beach' price. ||The suite was spacious and generally clean. The main issue is that we had a couple of slow drains to deal with. The tub and sink in the bathroom both had this issue. There were two TVs in the suite. One of the remotes were not compatible with the TVs, so we had to use the one remote for both TVs. ||The outdoor pool was very nice. We spent a decent amount of time in it. Would appreciate a little more shade poolside, since it always seemed to be sunny. ||There is a changing room/towel room by the pool. It was a little hard to find. Travelers also leave some beach toys and other temporary accessories for others to use.

This place is really good and I liked it. The best part is that there's a gentleman's club next door and the airport is not that far from the hotel. There shuttle number was not working when I called it, it directly sent me to the voicemail. That was the only problem I had with them but the pool and gym were amazing for my vacation. The waffle machine was not good and there was no spray. The toilet kept flushing after I flushed it and kept making sound for 5 minutes after complete flush. The curtain couldn't even shut either.

I definitely do not recommend it. They delivered the room dirty. There were hairs in the bathroom and dust everywhere. The carpets are very dusty and it is very difficult for asthma patients to stay here. There was a dirty duvet that was yellowed, dirty and stained. We were able to change the duvet one day later. We asked for our room to be cleaned and our room was not cleaned for the three days we stayed. With 3 small children, we did not have towels and our room was not clean. We reported again on the second day. They brought towels to the reception and said take them and go. rude people. We couldn't get service. We were victimized. We threw away the garbage ourselves. We carried the garbage to the lobby. We threw it out. nobody cared about us.

Employees were polite and professional. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was well maintained, and the food was very good. Short drive to the beach.

I have stayed multiple times and enjoyed it each time. Rooms were clean, and the environment was peaceful. The experience with the staff was great. Especially Nancy. She was kind, accommodating and a tremendous help throughout my entire stay. She is a true asset to the Comfort Inn team. Would recommend to others.
