Comfort Inn & Suites St. Paul Northeast - Hotel in Vadnais Heights - 3505 Vadnais Center Dr, USA

Super fun hotel! We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and everyone had a blast. The kids (and adults) loved the water slide. The hot tub was big as well and could fit a good amount of people. The staff was also super great. I had issues with my card when we first checked in, and the woman working the front desk was super great about it! We will definitely come back.

Looks nice on the outside and the rooms look nice enough but we were here several nights and I found two bedbugs. They were full so they couldn't move us so we were screwed. They really don't clean the place well enough, there are ALWAYS screaming and disrespectful kids in the pool, the staff is lazy, the carpets smell awful on the first floor because of all the chlorine and there was a big, sticky stain by the side of the bed that never dried. The TV didn't work the entire time we were there either. Your money would be better spent at a place that actually cleans and has staff that doesn't take 15 minutes to get to the front desk to help every time.

Positive: The hot breakfast was well supplied and had a good variety. Room was nice and roomy, comfortable bed. Nice pool and hot tub. Good internet! The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Would definitely book there again. Negative: The lemons in the lemon water available day and night needed to be changed, plain coffee creamer often ran out. The handicap bathroom had no counter and the shower ran all over. And the door keys had to be reset most days. Negative: ""

Very dirty hotel. You should consider ripping up the carpets & just having laminate flooring, It’s easier to clean. All the walls were filthy & the chairs need to be fixed or replaced. This could be a nice hotel but it’s not kept up. The drapes were torn and the furniture had dents & imperfections. I will be very upset if I’m charged for anything. I only stayed one night because of the weather. Everything with the breakfast is ok except the meat & omelets that were dry & old. The hot tub & pool are dirty & colder than it should be. I will be staying elsewhere next time.

Beds were clean and comfy. Kids enjoyed the pool and water slide. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. Sausage peppers and potatoes one morning, biscuits and gravy the next. Malted waffles everyday too which are delicious! Nice that they change it up. I was a little hesitant based on other recent reviews. Well worth the price we paid. Very dirty and not kept hotel. Pool and hot tub were dirty and colder than they should be. All the carpets throughout the hotel are nasty, they all should be replaced. Walls, furniture and doors were all dirty and many imperfections. The chairs and curtains need to be repaired or replaced. I think the hotel has potential but as is, not a great place to stay. I’d look elsewhere. The breakfast is ok as long as you don’t have the meat and eggs. The meat looked so old and dry it might as well been jerky. The eggs were dry and obviously old. You would be better off going to Perkins across the street.

Had a great stay here in July of 2024 while in town for the North Star Rodeo. Rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Very close to local points of interest, lots of local food, and most importantly --- less than a mile from the nearest KWIK TRIP!!!! AJ at the front desk was WONDERFUL. A really fantastic and friendly host who represented the hotel very well. We were disappointed that we didn't get a chance to say goodbye when we checked out. AJ, if you see this, we hope you can enjoy your first rodeo very soon :)

Positive: The day manager and nighttime staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the tv remote not working, and the manager immediately came up to the room to check it. We also requested extra towels and the night staff were very polite. Negative: Our room was missing a piece of art and there was a large dark pink stain on the carpet in our room. The syrup at the breakfast bar tasted really terrible. Negative: ""
