I've stayed here twice now and just LOVE this place!!!! Rooms are clean, bed is comfy, pillows are amazing, ocean view is awesome! I've had a room with a balcony and a room with a suite type where it had like a kitchenette and a Livingroom type area like a studio. Breakfast is amazing!!! They literally have anything you can choose from! Staff is friendly and pool is awesome! There's always deer in the yard too and the kids loved seeing the baby deer! Great place to stay and I highly recommend this place!

The loft room was really nice for a family of 5 but lots of little things need improvement at this hotel. The view was amazing but you could hardly see through the window. The washer was tiny so had to do 7 loads and the dryer was broken. Breakfast was not amazing. No butter or bread on some days and one horrible cereal option. Side door to stairs was completely insecure and anyone could walk through it at all times of the day. Pool was not clean. Access to the beach was nice.

Pros: Great location, pleasant and helpful staff, decent free breakfast Cons: Our room was falling apart. The tap was broken, the microwave was so gross that we didn't use it and the clothes hook in the bathroom was broken. Also, the room key cards kept getting deactivated everyday. Overall, very disappointed with the quality of the room. Do not recommend staying here.

Did the early check in online. Got to our room quickly, however that's all I have to say nice about this place. The beds are hard, squeaky, and sink to the middle there are also stains on the top blanket. The television does not work, "no signal" shows on the screen. Austin the ONLY person working right now tried to be helpful, but wasn't really. Apparently there are no other rooms available, and we have 3 nights here. I am pretty angry. So much for requesting an Ocean view.

Positive: Great breakfast, courtesy employees Negative: toilet was way to low, Asked for and got a riser However it did not fit well. so made times using it dangerous. A single senior would or might fall because of it. The tub shower arrangement is old. A new walk in shower would be much better.

The hotel was very easy to find. The parking lot is in front. Front desk staff was very, very friendly and helpful.| Our room was on the top floor facing parking lot. Everything was clean and towels were soft. The toilet was ridiculously low for an adult. Never experienced that before in a hotel! Beds were comfortable, lots of pillows.| Breakfast was a long walk to back of hotel. Waffles, eggs, sausage. A little crowded to get around the food. But everything was clean.| Didn’t use the pool, looked nice.| We were impressed with the recycling bin at the front door entrance. Not many hotels provide them. I still separate it in the room, and hope that the cleaning staff recycles my pile of paper and plastics. | The hotel is a long walk to the water. There is a makeshift path at the back of the hotel. It took 10 minutes to navigate a very tricky path. I would not recommend taking it. Especially at sundown! Stick to the public path down the street.| I would stay here again.

Very dirty! We didn’t feel comfortable using the toilet, shower, jacuzzi (we specifically got this expensive room to use the jacuzzi), sitting on the loveseat or using the ceiling fan. I listed all the things that were dirty and wanted cleaned to who I’m assuming was the manager and she had someone clean the room while we were out. When we came back in the evening, we discovered the only thing that was satisfactorily clean in appearance was the toilet. There was still hair and soap scum, old shampoo and soap on the walls and soap shelf of the shower, although there was less hair. The fan was still covered in thick dust and a huge toe nail and food were under the nightstand and next to the bed and a piece of garbage on the floor by the desk. When we told the manager, she said she had checked after it was cleaned saying “you wanted the bathroom cleaned and bed made, right?” Yes we wanted a clean bathroom, but didn’t need the bed made (as we were staying 2 more nights) and we wanted a detailed dusting and vacuuming. We didn’t have confidence in their skills to correct the situation so we didn’t ask again and decided to make the best of it. Aside from needing a good vacuum, dust and bathroom cleaning, the loveseat was stained and super broken in and it looked like the wallpaper was peeling and they just painted over it and a lot of other wall imperfections that gave the place an old, broken down look. The lobby and what used to be the guest work station had become a storage area. The hotel was pretty gross in general and not worth the discounted price (for signing up for choice premium rewards). We were excited to leave and go to another hotel. We would have been happy to pay full price for a clean room we could feel comfortable being in. Comfort Inn’s only saving grace is the great location with ocean view. Just behind the hotel is the brush where you can take a 10 minute walk along a trail to the beach, or drive for a minute and take your whole vehicle onto the beach. So if you just need a place to sleep and you don’t care about cleanliness or how nice a place is, this is not a bad choice… although there are a bunch of other hotels along the same road just as close to the beach.

SHORT TOILETS If you’re older with knee issues you should find somewhere else to stay because the toilet is about 4-6” shorter than regular toilets. This hotel has the potential to be 5 stars if it wasn’t for the little things such as super squeaky door, super slow elevator doors, no screen door on the patio. I guess most of the issues REVOLVE (pun intended) around doors. There is a wooded trail behind the hotel that leads to the beach but it’s a freaking long walk. Sunset from balcony
