Comfort Inn & Suites - near Robins Air Force Base Main Gate - Featured Reviews (390)
I had the pleasure of booking a room at the comfort inn near the base and I was welcomed by the kindest gentleman named Keith. He was so kind and professional, it was a really nice to chat with Keith and gain his insight about the city and local attractions. The hotel was clean and spotless, my room was also very clean too. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of seating and towels available for use. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. My trip became a lot better after meeting Keith, thank you to the comfort inn family for making me feel at home.
Good, clean, friendly facility. We ended up here after trying the other Comfort suites in town. We were much happier at this hotel! The staff were friendly and we slept well. Just remember you’re beside the Air Force base so they play their wake up bugle call at 7:00 AM which can be heard in the hotel.
I'm an elite DIAMOND member, and I expect better. I booked a reservation for July 15th-18th at this dump, and from the moment I arrived, things went downhill. The young man at the counter was pleasant, but that was the only positive interaction I had.
The room they gave me was 116, and the TV didn't work. I get it, the storm outside might have caused some issues. But the internet worked fine, which was just weird. But hey, I thought maybe it was just a one-time thing. WRONG. By 1 am, the TV was still busted. We had to call the front desk because our 4-year-old was sleeping, and we didn't want to disturb him. The night crew seemed like they couldn't care less about our problem. They told us to try and fix it ourselves with remotes, like we're some kind of tech-savvy geniuses. We tried, but no luck.
Then, at 5 am, we were woken up by some guy kicking in our door. My partner stopped him and asked what he was doing, but all he could say was gibberish because he didn't speak English. I called down to the front desk and got stuck with Chiquita, who seemed to take pleasure in being incompetent.
I calmly explained the situation to her, but she immediately started yelling at me, telling me that she didn't care about my diamond status and that we should've been grateful that maintenance showed up in the first place. Are you kidding me? I told her that we had a DO NOT DISTURB flag on our door, no one called or knocked before bursting in, and that kicking in locked doors is not okay. But she just kept dismissing me, calling me a liar and raising her voice even more.
When I tried to explain how disappointed I was as a diamond member and as a human being, she told me that she was going to call the police on me because she didn't want us in the hotel anymore. The police came and spoke to me for five minutes before leaving, and my partner stayed up front to deal with them too. It was clear that we did nothing wrong.
We packed up and left, never to set foot in this dump again or any other Choice Hotel. Chiquita is a toxic person who clearly has issues with anger management. I feel sorry for her because it's clear that life hasn't been kind to her. But I'll be addressing her boss and the higher-ups directly about this incident. And as for her? She deserves all the energy and intensity she's dishing out - times a thousand. Experience is life's best teacher, and I hope she learns from hers soon.
I really like this spot 👍 Very clean & comfy rooms w all new remodel , super quiet with a neat room/ suite format thats more like a mini apartment .Shakita at the front desk & the cleaning ladies are all super friendly & helpful . Typical waffles & eggs choice bfast. I'm bookmarking this CI as my go to hotel in the area for future stays , definetly recommended .
Really good location, close to the Museum of Aviation, and Warner Robins. Breakfast is nice, lots of choices. Staff is warm and helpful. We have stayed here multiple times this past year, and have never had any issues. The rooms are clean and inviting. There is a coffee and tea station that is always ready to go, and warm cookies and fresh lemon water in the evening.
Nice property, but I had the freight train tracks right out my window. The shower controls need better marking. I had trouble adjusting for hot/cold. The tub also needs a non-slip surface. It was very slippery.|The TV wasn't working. It displayed "no signal". The front desk guy responded within 2 minutes and used an LG remote to switch the source back to HDMI. He said it happens after a power failure, and the room remote doesn't have a "source" button.|The microwave and coffee pot were both unplugged. |Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and gravy for biscuits. Everything looked fresh and was delicious. |Other than a few complaints, I was happy with my 2 night stay.
Carpets in rooms and hallways filthy, hair in bathroom and dog barking part of the night. Desk person was very friendly and helpful. Also, the TRAIN was very noisy.
We were very pleased with everything with our stay. The front desk person "Shakey" was very kind and helpful!
