It was a good hotel. There were some ugly spots in the bathroom and the toilet looked like it needed to be cleaned better. We got a 2 queen bed room and the mattresses were clean and comfortable. The sheets had some staining but we just took them off and didn’t use them. The shower was shorter than us but it had great water pressure which made up for the lack of height. The location of the hotel was perfect for where we were going and right down the street from Cracker Barrel which is awesome for breakfast food.

The facility, location, and breakfast were good, but we were there from a Wednesday to Saturday with no housekeeping ever attending our room. By Friday we needed toilet paper and towels, so we told the front desk that morning. Right away the attendant for some reason said we won't service rooms with do not disturb signs. I told her we never used that, and she said oh then took our room number. When we came back early evening/late afternoon, the same attendant was there and stopped us in the lobby while she brought over a housekeeper and asked them in front of us if they took care of our room - they said yes, we said thanks and headed upstairs to find that our room had not been entered (not clean, no toilet paper, pile of dirty towels remained, no new towels left). We went back to the desk and were physically given towels and toilet paper - half hour later housekeeping knocked to take the dirty towel pile. When we checked out Saturday, I told the attendant (different from Friday) that we enjoyed the facilities but wanted to give feedback about housekeeping. He looked up and only said oh well I haven't worked the past few days. No attendant ever apologized. It was all strange and off putting, since making beds, replacing dirty towels and ensuring toilet paper are regular housekeeping tasks, and it's especially concerning that they did not do anything after being informed Friday morning and then openly lied in front of us about doing it. Maybe the hotel is secretly (I say this because they say and leave signage in the room saying housekeeping is taking care of us, etc. but not) cutting corners? Or maybe housekeeping is lying to the desk about their work and focusing mostly on check outs? Because we loved the location, we will probably seek a neighboring hotel next time.

Our experience was incredibly disappointing. We paid different rates for identical rooms, a spread of twenty a night, 4 people each. Staff was kind with one small exception. We booked the 2 queen bed business suite. The pictures had a foldout couch, and we had people that didn’t want to share a queen in each room, so this was the solution. Our room was a joke. The sitting room was empty except for one chair and footstool. No foldout couch. No bench, or desk. They were in the bedroom area, in place of whatever was supposed to be there. We had to put all of our bags on the floor. Chair was gross, and so many things were in poor condition. I can't fit it all here. Not clean. There was hair in the shower, and the room kind of smelled like dirty water. The shower rod was sagging so much, the curtain would fall to the center of the rod during the shower. It was open 2 feet on either side. I could not make it close more without it sliding back due to the dip. Breakfast was underwhelming. The listing claimed “hot breakfast”, but all that was there was some rubbery scrambled eggs and gristly sausage. You could make waffles, but it was mostly cold carbs. Coffee wasn’t brewed. You pressed a button to dispense. It seemed as if it were some powder that was mixed with hot water. They were allegedly booked up (website had no other queen rooms), so I wasn’t able to get a new room. One of the people who wanted their own bed got another room. Fifty dollars cheaper than our cheapest, and it was the room we were supposed to get (fold out couch!), despite it not being listed as an option. Awful experience.

The desk clerk was useless. Who I have later came to find out was the general manager! And he did not know how to add an additional guest to the room list. A very simple function on the computer system that choice hotels use. Being a previous general manager myself, I know exactly how the system works and he couldn't be bothered to get out of his chair and out up in front of his television to add a guest to the room I think I was interrupting his television watching... which now makes perfect sense. Why the general manager is covering the second shift. He does such a lousy job that he can't keep quality employees! I don't know who the owner of this particular property is or if it's the corporate property, but whoever is running it needs to get rid of him replace him and find somebody that can do the job before they'll tell him to pulling down the drain. The room was very nice except that the bathroom would have been nicer if it had a vent fan in it because when you take a shower it gets extremely steamy. Even if you're only using lukewarm water, there's nowhere for it to vent to.. As far as rest of the room it was clean and neat. The young lady working in the third shift. Her name was Sonya. She was very pleasant, very positive and extremely helpful. In my opinion, I would train her and have her take over the general managers position!!!

We love staying at Comfort Inn Hotels and have been members with them for this reason. Usually they are clean, quiet, very ideal and comfortable for a small get away either solo, with spouse or family. Unfortunately this location had us question whether to cancel our membership and discontinue using any hotels in the Choice Group altogether. The room bedsheets were not clean and multiple times we had to request for them to be changed. It got to the point we regretted why we didn’t bring our own sheets because the hotel sheets had stains on them. The bathroom tub was white-turned into brown-ish and also had stains plus fungi in some areas. We literally had to Chlorax wipe it down to avoid any bacteria infection. The TV “monopoly” system is insane! This property literally locked their TVs to cable and have hotel-tv remotes in the rooms that only serve for volume up-down, channel up-down. No access (i.e. restricted) to use any Apps on the TV like at the other Comfort Inn locations. The A/C was loud when on and made whistling noise when turned off. Not to mention that the windows were not locking! The knobs were nonexistent; It’s like the windows said “slide me in and leave me alone”. As if it wasn’t enough, the black out curtains were only covering 1/8th of the windows on each side. Forget about the idea of sleeping in because those sun rays will come kiss your face good morning whether you like it or not. What’s the point of taking time off if it’s still to be stressed out in the morning, reminded to get up and out of bed by the sun, smh! The complimentary breakfast was a scam altogether. Either the waffle batter was too thick or too watery, again smh! The eggs were fried too dry and the selection of food was poor and limited. For some reason the pork sausage and eggs are always placed under the same food warmer, why would you do that? Not everyone eats filth (pork)! The staff is overall very mean. Especially the manager who goes by the name Wayne. I don’t know but I think he cautions every mismanagement happening at this property. Next is the black lady who serves the breakfast fast at kitchen in the morning. Maybe she is African American but has a somewhat lighter dark skin color; I understand some people don’t like smiling but don’t take this job if you’re going to be treating visitors and residents like a piece of absolute C-R-A-P! This lady is so mean and full of herself to the point she’s on her phone (earbuds) making fun of clients. We sat down and watched her being so busy laughing other clients complaining about mixing both pork sausage and eggs underneath the same food warmer. She was so into it that she couldn’t even pay attention at clientele needs. She will be too quick to dump your stuff even when you’re not done and will turn off appliances when it’s not yet 9:30Am! Multiple times we observed her in this (her) behavior and when you might think she is done, she will team up with another black (maybe African American) guy (from room service/cleaning) who comes to the kitchen around 9:20Am for his breakfast, to insult clients and motivate each other in their petty behavior. What a great and excellent combination of unprofessional staffs for a hospitality management facility. However the Indian looking lady at the kitchen and the Asian looking lady of room service were exceptional. They really treated people with respect and politeness. Unfortunately this is the only way to make a reference or describe any staff since none of them had name tags, badges or identification on them. I could go on and on… because this is in no way an exhaustive list. The indoor pool, shower curtains, the coffee, etc., all these need a complete revamp. Unfortunately until all these issues are addressed we recommend you take your business elsewhere.

My family had a get-together, and we needed a couple of rooms for some out of state kids that night. I was told by the receptionist there that the only rooms available were king suites for $180 a room and that that was all they had. I paid for the rooms and gave out the keys. Later that night, I did a search for that hotel, and they had multiple rooms at all different prices, and the rooms I paid for were the highest priced of any room. The rooms were nice and clean, but the receptionist just straight up lied to us. I'll never stay there again just on principle. There are several hotels in the immediate area that are just as nice and have never given us any issues like this. Never trust a liar.

Positive: The room was large, very high pressure shower. Good location. Negative: The floors were very dirty. Took a white wet washcloth and wiped a 3 foot strip, washcloth was brown afterwords. Broken shower surround, shower curtain mounting points on the surround. Sounded like the box springs were broken on the beds.

Tv wouldnt work room was a bit dirty. Pool was dirty algae on the tiles. Breakfast was 1 out of 5. Probably the worst 2 things was the fact that the air conditioner was making banging noises so couldnt keep it on and that the whole place wreaked like pot Love staying comfort suites diamond member but never bringing family to this location again
