Comfort Inn & Suites Kansas City - Northeast - Hotel in Kansas City - 7300 NE Parvin Rd, USA

Having stayed at Comfort Inns & Suites all over the country, I was BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED in the Kansas City NE property. The rugs in the room (#112),|were worn, ragged, & FILTHY! Ceilings brown & discolored with water stains. Dirt accumulated in room corners. The desk chair was broken & totally unusable. At least the front desk sent me a replacement the next day, The breakfast was pretty much unpalatable, with a scarce supply of fruit , hard boiled eggs,& off-brand oatmeal & yogurt. Thank God for the Waffle House across the street! |I’m a Choice member with many stays experience across the country,and CANNOT understand what gives with this property! If this property is owned a franchisee, corporate needs to inspect this place PRONTO, because this place is far below the usual standards for a Choice hotel.

This place is a dump. I have stayed at multiple Comfort Inn & Suites and this is the worst of them all. This location brings down their reputation as a decent hotel chain. If I were corporate, I would rid of this location. Take notice of all the other bad reviews left on this site by others. It is absolutely true. Multiple rooms have mold and are musty smelling from obvious water damage. Dilapidated with paint peeling from walls and ceilings. Holes in the walls. Hallways was filled with a haze of pot smoke. Fruit flies buzzing. I didn’t see cockroaches or was attacked by bedbugs, but certainly don’t doubt they are localized infestations present in several rooms. Long hair found in the breakfast eggs. Stains on carpet. Ripped carpet. Nothing good about staying here except for its location is convenient. Guess it makes for future storytelling of my trip to Kansas City.

Cockroaches! Smelly! Dirty! My husband's work booked this hotel for an outing after worlds of fun. The carpet was ripped and stained. The room and refrigerator smelled. We were able to look past that until the cockroaches came out from behind the phone by the bed. We immediately left the hotel. The front desk staff offered a new room, but we know the whole hotel was probably infested. We would not recommend staying here!

Was not a fan of this location , beds are hard as a rock. Pillows are barely enough to raise your head off the bed. A/C didn’t work I asked to be moved to a different room and the said all they can suggest in unplug and plug back in. Next morning for breakfast, there was none. I tried to wash some clothes in the laundry area , both machines are out of order. Not a great experience overall

Location is excellent: 10 miles from Royals/ Chiefs stadiums, across from Worlds of Fun, 2 casinos minutes away. Hotel was clean, breakfast had good variety (there is also a Waffle House across the street). Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and exercise areas looked clean and in good shape. Will visit again!!

Positive: Location. Surprisingly quiet. Negative: Beds were firm. Drains were slow. AC stopped working for awhile. Room was very dated with absolutely no decor - did not meet my expectations for this hotel brand. Sheets had hair on them.

Positive: Hotel employee at the front desk was amazing I wish she worked every night when we stayed she had everything perfect breakfast ready before work hours made our stay feel comfortable If every worker was like her this hotel would be perfect Negative: The nights hotel employee worked at the front desk lights would be off by 10 he always had his ear buds in would have to remove one to even hear your question hotel looked messy dark just didn?t feel as welcoming the nights he was on shift very rude

My kids and I normally stay at this hotel every summer for three nights so that we can enjoy Worlds Of Fun. Typically, we love this property. It's close to WOF and has several quick food options nearby. We stayed last month and were absolutely disgusted. We found bedbugs on my son's bed when we woke up the second morning. I spoke to the receptionist at the desk and she assured me her manager would credit my Choice account for a free room since we booked on Expedia (which we did not, we booked directly on the site) and she could not refund us. She did move us to a new room but we never received any credits. I have emailed the manager of the hotel numerous times as well as Choice Hotels directly and have not received any outcome. Disappointing.
