Room was very clean, pillows were lovely, and my room had a bathtub! I was delighted because I had been driving for 15 hours and it was just a great surprise. The tap water was a bit yellow and cloudy but that may be the norm for the area. Towels were comforting after my warm bath. Staff was pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was a blessing before getting on the road again :) Definitely a good place to stay.
After driving with two young kids for 9 hours, we decided to stay here overnight. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and good location adjacent to a good selection of food. My only con would be that the floors are very thin and we could hear the people above us walking around for most of the night. Other than that, it was a great stay!
We would not stay here again for a few reasons. #1 being that they do not allow animals. We travel with our 2 indoor only, well-behaved cats although we did not travel with the girls this time. The check-in process took more than 20 minutes as the receptionist kept apologizing and saying "the system is slow".... Speaking of slow... the elevators were so slow we opted most of the time to take the stairs although my fiance is disabled. The staff was less than friendly and although there were one or two "ok" staff members, it was hard to get a smile or a "Hi" out of most of them. The card "key" was constantly being deactivated and we would have to go downstairs to get it activated again and again.
Not bad but just not what we are looking for in a hotel. The rooms are typical rooms with typical stuff. Nothing luxurious.
The best part I can say was the pool area with a sitting area to visit with family or smoke safely in a gated area with cameras from the front desk to insure safety.
Checked into a room while traveling on business to work on some paperwork & to take a short nap before getting back on the road. I was at the hotel for 5 hours (from 10:40am - 3:50pm).Was charged $50 extra dollars just because I arrived in the morning & not what they consider "check in time" (I was a walk-in, not a reservation)! I was VERY DISAPPOINTED at that. I don't understand what the point is in paying $50 extra! Other than that, the room was clean, BUT... the bathroom smelled like it had been cleaned with dirty water & urine (not happy about that!). The 5 hours that I spent at the hotel was quiet tho (only about 12 cars in the parking lot) so I guess I should be thankful that I was able to get some work done & nap for an hour before getting back on the road.
I’m the guest that likes to see the positive seeing that I’ve worked in this industry. I’m highly disappointed to have to write this review.
: This is an opportunity for coaching re: the entire team!
After arriving from a 15 hour drive and the room smells of mold, mildew/ water intrusion! I had to keep the air blowing high afraid that we would be sick but I was highly exhausted from the drive and dealt with it. Corners of bathroom could definitely use some fresh caulk. The pool was dark, cloudy & pool floor stained with dark spots or rust, it has not been power washed or painted in some time. Breakfast ok, but staff doesn’t even speak. One of the exterior entrances have broken concrete that I was afraid might tear up my tires on my new 2023 vehicle. Lastly I over slept on my check out day, requested a late check out and was told there would be a $25 late check out fee. They have a very big group coming in and they need to get my room turned as soon as possible, this was told to me by the front desk agent. I even asked what she could try to do, there was no accommodation made for me without a charge. I no longer felt accommodated as a current guest of 2 nights! She then called my room to see when I was vacating the room, I officially felt BULLIED!!! They will NOT get my business again… Going to New Orleans today & staying at another hotel.
Tiff is a power hungry general manager! Very rude and complicated to talk to! I wanted to ask a question about my reservation and her response to that was cancel his reservation PERIOD!!! Even though I didn't get what I wanted the front desk assistant manager Remy answered all of my questions in a kind, courteous, and professional manner. Tiff the general manager should be fired!! If you stay at this hotel please don't speak to Tiff the general manager she's over the top mean and proud of it!!
We had a very comfortable overnight stay at this location. Our two granddaughters said they would give this hotel a 5 star review! Jennifer is outstanding and I want to be sure she is recognized for her warm and welcoming reception from checkin to checkout and everything in between. She is professional, cheerful and friendly, while embracing the true definition of hospitality. This hotel is in a convenient location to many restaurants and stores yet is tucked away enough to avoid hearing loud outside noise, allowing for a restful night. We felt safe. The hotel and dining areas are clean and inviting. Breakfast was perfectly suited to our needs and delicious. My husband isn’t sure if someone purposely left a luggage cart outside of our room, but there was one there right by our door this morning which was convenient! I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you find yourself in Slidell, Louisiana.
We stayed in a King Suite and it was perfect for our 4 day stay. The rooms are great and appear to be newly remodeled. The staff at this hotel is truly special. They went above and beyond to make our room and others available after the tragic tornadoes event in slidell. We also were surprised at the quality of the breakfast food. It’s simple but well done. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely use them again when we are in town.
My wife got put up here for a month for work and I drove down for a weekend. The room and staff were amazing. They are super friendly. I never got to ask who the lady is, but she's a manager or something, and she was offering to have the kitchen make
Bought a gift certificate online for my son. Process was extremely easy. Son called a week later to setup his jump and got the appointment time he wanted.
When we arrived at the airport, we were immediately greeted by an awesome staff! Everyone was v
