While the location is great in Huntington Beach, the rooms (2 beds) were extremely small. My husband and I had to walk single file line to and from the bedroom. There was plenty of towels provided, however, the towels were very dirty looking. In my opinion, they should have been thrown away and purchased new ones. They had that black tint on them. The staff was nice. No complaints there. The breakfast buffet was great. Eating area was pretty small for all the guests that were there this past weekend. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby which was a plus. If this was my only option, it's not bad. But I will try other places.

Not a pleasant stay at all. Front Desk people are hard to work with, and are short spoken and have a rude demeanor. Also had food right on the desk while talking to customers. Bathroom In lobby area is terribly furnished and painted. Overall everything is painted horribly. Elevator was slow and wouldn’t work from time to time. Ac vents had buckets for leaks which is very unprofessional. The room had many flaws as well, the bathroom bath faucet would spray out wildly onto the the bathroom floor. The couch was ripped and the pull out was stained. Stains as well on the carpet. Overall horrible experience would not recommend if wanting to stay comfortably.

They wouldn’t accept my dad’s card even though I am here taking care of him while he’s in Assisted Living – and unable to come here to check in!||Initially I booked a room – using my dad’s card – though a 3rd-party site (Agoda). That went fine, and I checked in and stayed for 2 nights, with my own card used only for deposit.||When I attempted to extend that booking another couple days, They refused to take my dad’s card for payment.|So I made a reservation online — AND PAID WITH MY DAD’s card. ||Now they are insisting on charging me for attempting to extend my stay!! They are calling it a “reservation” — even though I only asked for the price.||The front desk employee Ariel has been extremely unhelpful, rude and combative. THIS IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and it didn’t have to be! I just wanted to extend my stay, using the same card I used initially.||Good customer service would have explained that I could only do that through a 3rd party site, and happily direct me to one.||Bad customer service – which I got from Ariel!! – became combative and spiteful when I asked about using my dad’s card. ||She made a full non-cancellable reservation when I asked about the price. When I showed her my online reservation (paid for with dad’s card), she informed me I would have to pay a Reservation Cancellation Fee in the amount of an entire night’s stay – merely for asking the price!!||At no point did I raise my voice, or treat her disrespectfully. However, she became obstinate and deliberately unhelpful from the beginning of our interaction, and continued to escalate! ||Eventually I gave up on interacting with her, and stepped away to call Customer Service, and later worked things out reasonably with the manager Carlos (neither of them had a business card, or offered anything but a first name).||BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT RELY on the employee service at this location! BE AWARE that you must use a 3rd-party booking site if you want to use a credit card without your name on it.

Personally I’m heading back to the Best Western as soon as I’ve completed this reservation, never to return!

I had the best sleep in the best bed of the Decade.. It was like I was Sleeping on Clouds.. I Will Always Stay in a Comfort Inn from now on... Very Clean Rooms and a Fabulous Breakfast Buffet!!Also its Very Close to the Beaches..(10mins)~4miles approximately.

Positive: Great value! Clean, comfortable room. Close to beach spots and city centers. Staff was efficient and courteous. Negative: No. Hotel delivered on my expectations!

Positive: Most of the employees were fantastic! They went the extra mile to make you happy and comfortable during your stay. Negative: Yes! The male employee that was there when we checked in needed to learn to explain an issue that we had properly. If you would have explained himself clearly, I wouldn't have gotten upset. The room smells a little bit like mildew and were pretty humid. However, they were clean and the service was good! I accidentally left a fake engagement ring (don’t wear the real one when traveling) in the room after checkout, and the receptionist called to let me know. Fortunately, it was just a cheap ring but I appreciated her honesty! Truly don’t know how many would take that extra step.

Booked this hotel for my mother and daughter who were visiting me for a family visit from out of town. At 3am noises woke everyone up. They assumed it was someone using the ice machine. They soon woke up, due to the ongoing noise and found a rat (vermin) in one of the bags they had in their room. The rat has been trying to open plastic wrapped individual cookies. The front desk was IMMEDIATELY called! The front desk acted like it is not their problem and they stated that they "never have heard of rats or vermin in their hotel". Hence, read the numerous reviews from prior customers that they have found roaches, bed bugs, rats, mice etc...... The front desk wanted to offer another room. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! A report was made, while still on the property to the Department of Environmental Health on Orange County. This place is absolutely harmful for anyone who may stay here. This is unacceptable and for the front desk to not be helpful and "deny, deny, deny" that there is an ongoing vermin problem, is hideous and disappointing. The room they "offered" was not taken and they would not refund any money as only 1 night out of 2 nights, paid in full, were used. Immediately checking with the credit card company not only did they refuse to refund the 2nd night (that was already paid in full), but they charged an ADDITIONAL $100 for some reason! Last thing, upon leaving, the front desk REFUSED to give me a paper receipt! Fishy business! DO NOOOOOOTTTT stay here. Save yourself from nonsense!
