I must say that I enjoy very much every-time I stay at this hotel!! From the moment I walk in, The receptionist, Sarah is on the ball!! I have no complaint whatsoever about any of my many stays here! All the rooms I’ve had here are always clean spacious. Breakfast is always hot and ready not to mention served by the friendliest lady!! I hands down recommend any of my family and friends to stay at a comfort suites, and if it has to be here local, this is the number one choice!!
This front desk person’s ignorance became a running joke for an entire night.
She told my veteran police officer husband we couldn’t check in (we were just waiting 2 days on the finishing touches to be complete on the home we were building) We just moved 3 miles away and he’s been with same local police dept for 16 years.
lol😂
We both had temp licenses for the 3 mile away address change from the DPS because that’s what the law requires within 10 days of moving to a new address.
My husband showed her his LE ID and badge and explained this it is a legal license and he accepts them when pulling someone over.
She proceeded to “call her manager” at home and told my husband to “shush” as she can’t carry two conversations at once when he simply ask if he could explain the situation🤣
She proceeded to tell my husband he was wrong and temporary photo IDs are not considered legal ID. FALSE!!!! That is a flat out lie!
Reading these other reviews have to be about the same person. She wouldn’t allow us to check in and she was on the biggest power trip I’ve ever seen. We were even super nice to her because we thought there is no way she was being serious. She was. Stay far far away from this place! Found a much nicer hotel who was beyond helpful and never even mentioned our temp driver’s license except to make sure our credit cards belonged to the same guest like any other check in.
We had a pleasant stay at your hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, always greeting us whenever we passed by. The pool, located in a separate building, was also enjoyable. The breakfast provided was satisfactory.
Recently spent the night there and was very happy with my stay.
Bed was comfortable and the room was nice. Didn't have time to eat breakfast, but it did smell good.
The girl at the front check in with brown hair/glasses (working evenings in mid August) needs to go!!
She was insanely rude and argumentative to customers attempting to check in.
Her attitude was beyond absurd.
The people in front of me were there for business and walked out canceling their reservations because she was so defiant
and rude. They were all extremely professional and polite. They were not the issue. She was mad because the reservation wasn’t made using some type or corporate code and refused to look into it and told them to pay full price on their own card (despite it being pre-paid) or leave and shrugged her shoulders. The smugness was nauseating.
I left as well, canceling my stay and another woman walked in and heard her going off on another customer and simply said “nope” and walked out.
I hope you can pull video/security footage of how she treated the guests that day. I’m sure that’s her norm. That wasn’t one bad day. It was her entire persona.
She refused to check one woman in as her credit card name was hyphenated and her ID wasn’t (still had the same name attached).
Everyone who witnessed her in this time period walked out.
I stay a few times a year. Always enjoy my time there. It's a convenient location. Staff is nice, rooms are nice, breakfast is good. Good value for the money.
I booked this hotel before reading reviews (I never do that). I just went off how many stars. Before we arrived, I was reading reviews and was really worried and braced myself for something horrible. When we got here, I was so pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, the front desk was kind and gave me some of her own water bottles because the machines were down (owned by Coke, not the hotel), the kitchen aids were so helpful and kept the space clean, the hotel room was clean (we looked closely for the supposed bugs I read from another review- absolutely none!), the pool and whirlpool are open until midnight (which is perfect after a full day walking everywhere). Breakfast was great! The only down side is they charged $10/night more per person if your party is over 2 people and they didn't clean the room over our 2 night stay. I would stay here again.
The queen beds were very comfortable, the A/C worked great. The room was clean. The service from the front desk was perfect. My only complaint was the pull out mattress could definitely be looked at, it was dead lol. The bathroom shower is starting to show signs of mold about 5 ft up the wall.
