Comfort Inn & Suites DeLand - near University - Hotel in DeLand - 400 E International Speedway Blvd, USA

Check in was easy, front desk staff was not very friendly. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Air conditioner worked great! TV did not work, shower had water that was luke warm at best. Breakfast bar had a good selection and was well maintained,

Comfortable place for the money on a high occupancy Daytona Turkey Run weekend. The queen beds were nice and clean. The couch with a fold out futon was great for additional sleeping guests. Continental breakfast was hot and included excellent choices such as sausage patties, eggs, omelette, waffles, yogurt, orange juice, apple juice, etc. Shower had plenty of hot water. Heater and A/C worked great because we had a cold front on arrival during late night. My pet peeves were some dog hair stuck on the couch cushions, a stray baby roach and carpenter ant lingering in the bathroom because the shower curtain had a faint odor from dampness, and the bathroom door itself hits the shower curtain rod while making entree and exit a challenge. Solid four stars for this stay.

Not comfortable staying here. I checked out after an hour. Drunk man near the elevator. Hotel smells like marijuana despite sign that says no smoking & also has a musty smell. They have dehumidifiers in the halls. There were men coming & going constantly. I left & took an Uber to a different hotel to stay. Would not recommend. The general manager refused to give a refund

Nice specials suite rooms, water temperature wasn't satisfactory but was fixed on 2nd day. Breakfast lacked healthy options for those avoiding gluten or are following a vegetarian diet.

Quiet place, but service wasn’t good. 1st had problems trying to open the door then bathroom had only 2 towels and to complete our stay the shower was super slippery and clogged to the point the water reached above our ankles. Won’t stay here again.

Great location overall the stay was very nice and I enjoyed the time we had there I think we had only one complaint was I did see a few bugs through out my stay

My standards aren’t super high but I expect 2 things: 1. A clean fresh bed 2. A well working A/C. Neither of those were excellent. The pillows on our bed were at least 5 years old. Which we could have overlooked but the A/C froze up ALL NIGHT LONG! It would work for a little while and then freeze up and then thaw and work again. It was SO NOISY!! We had the thermostat at 72! I don’t think that’s unreasonable. It was so warm in our room!!! We had the WORST night sleep. The door to our room was also not a tight close. Light and noise from the hallway was making everything worse. All the room doors need to be replaced in this hotel! On a positive note, the breakfast and front desk staff were great! The location was excellent and the parking was excellent. Really think Choice hotels needs to invest in a little updating of this location.

Pitiful. We stayed here last July. Same experience this July. Room is not maintained daily. No trash removal. No fresh towels or washcloths. Beds are not made. I am at a loss as to how this establishment receives good reviews. I was hoping the good reviews were an indication of improvement. Apparently not. This has turned me off of Confort Inn completely, even though my stays with them in other states have been good to excellent. Move on. This one is not worth it.
