Comfort Inn & Suites - Hotel in Charlottesville - 1615 Timberwood Blvd, USA

This motel is awesome. It's in a great location with restaurants and shopping close by. Kim at the front desk is so kind and professional and she took the time to resolve a problem I had with booking.com. Our room was spotless clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is included and delicious. Our stay here was a great value and I would stay here again.

Newly built (2022), clean hotel with exceptional hospitality and close enough to Shenandoah National Park. Front Desk Manager, Aadel, kindly and patiently helped sort out a booking error and checked in our family of 7 into two rooms. Noticing that we filled three carts, I joked with Aadel that we were "moving in." He replied, "Looks like it," and continued a nice conversation where I clarified that we planned to go backpacking in Shenandoah NP. The rooms were spacious, had plenty of plugs, the AC worked great, the beds were comfortable, and the towels were plush. April did a great job of serving breakfast. Plenty of hot, fresh food. Good selection. Juice dispenser worked. Coffee was good. While doing four loads of laundry for our family at the hotel, I enjoyed a real conversation with delightful (night) front desk clerk, Jessica, when she exchanged me cash for coins. Morning front desk clerk, Wanda, greeted us with a smile and refreshed the lovely lemon water so we could have plenty of cold water for our backpacking trip. Overall great stay. Would return here and recommend this hotel.

Positive: I?ve stayed here 5 or 6 times. It?s consistent. Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Downside is it?s 10 minutes from the corner, but the lower price reflects that so it?s an outstanding value. I?ll be back. Negative: Just the distance from the corner and the msll

We stayed in this hotel for my daughter graduation past week. It had the best price to begin, they had nice welcome setting for graduates parents with flowers and refreshments. It had a friendly environment and the room condition was perfect. Large room with all you need to be feel at home. The most thing I liked was the bed which was so comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a 3 night stay. We had a dog so when we checked in there was confusion about where my room needed to be. They only let dogs on the first floor. ||The hotel was newer however they DON’T clean your room, change sheets or give you new towels unless you ASK. That is beyond ridiculous. Don’t stay here if you want a clean room!!!!

Our flight arrived late so our check-in was just prior to midnight. We were exhausted from a full day of traveling with many delays. As soon as we opened the door to our room we were greeted with a foul odor. Then minutes later realized the carpet flooring was wet. Our party of 4 had a difficult time sleeping due to the odor. The next morning we asked to be moved. The manager obliged but was not apologetic at all. We learned from staff that day that someone had been living in our room for a couple of months and their departure required a deep clean of the room (thus the carpet cleaning). The odor we had been breathing in was like a combo of urine and sweaty body odor. The staff (not manager) informed us that the room was not to be occupied for many days and were perplexed as to why the manager assigned us to this room when there were multiple rooms available suitable for 4 people. They assigned us to a new room the second day. Turns out the next night we had neighbors who like to stay up until 3 am chatting and laughing with the TV volume on high. I get it, people are on vacation. Point is, the walls are paper thin. They obviously didn’t install sound barrier btwn the rooms. The staff was gracious and friendly. The manager, Adel, could have shown an ounce of empathy but did not. If we return to Charlottesville we will not staying here but rather return to renting VRBO or AirBnb where we will have no noisy neighbors and better chance of having a clean environment.

The hotel is in great condition and the locale is conveniently situated with easy access to freeway and to shops and eateries. A quick drive to downtown. The staff are well-trained and unfailingly polite. However, I was there for four nights on business and the first two nights were wonderful. However, the third night I was placed in a different room next to a noisy group. I had to call the desk 4x and ask that they do something about the noise. It was well after 1 am before they quieted down. I was moved again the next day, at my request, to avoid a repeat of the noise and they moved me to a room that left me covered in bites from bed bugs. It was terrible. My legs and arms had hundreds of bites that itched for a week. I realize this could happen at any hotel but it was.a first for me and I travel a lot.

Booked by our daughter for a two night stay for a wedding in Charlottesville. We presented our credit card for payment at check in but our daughter ended up being charged! Our room did not get checked after our first night---so no coffee, cups etc were replenished.We had to go get them for the next morning! Breakfast was Ok--would have appreciated a banana or two and more cereal choices! Please step up on your services!
