I stayed here one night because the reviews were mostly positive. I will describe it in terms of pros and cons. Pros: Inexpensive, very clean room, comfortable bed, minimal noise from nearby rooms and hallway. Cons: in ugly industrial area which is not walkable, some engine noise audible in the room from time to time, hard for me to get a comfortable water temperature in the shower, only one USB port, clock had the incorrect time and could not be reset, at check-in receptionist was robotic and declined to smile, all single-use items at breakfast. Apparently they have had trouble with guests stealing items from the rooms, so they have a very unusual card in the bathroom describing the charge which will be added to your bill if something is missing. (See photo.)
Quick night stay, with a late night check in. Rico at the front desk was friendly, thorough and quick! The hotel is clean and has interior modern updates through-out. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable, I would have stayed more than one night at this hotel. The location, like many have mentioned, is in an industrial area, somewhat out of place, however very safe and close to amenities like Starbucks and Dutch Brothers. I couldn’t help my self and feed a pigeon in the parking lot, the blueberry muffins from the continental breakfast are pigeon approved! Good value, clean and comfortable. Comfort Inn & Suites Albuquerque Downtown. Karen approved.
Nice place. Staff is really great! It has a large parking lot, so if you're pulling a trailer. Drawback - the entrance is interesting if you're pulling something. 😏 Rooms were clean. The beds are firm. And the breakfast is great! The breakfast attendant is on top of it, too!
I booked this hotel last min. Good location, near to places I needed to go so the uber wasn't too much. They are very friendly as soon as you walk in. Rooms were great and clean. Ac worked well and the hot water never ran out. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again whenever I am in town. I felt safe here
The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The area at night looked a bit frightening, but upon entering the gated lot and the lobby of the hotel, I felt more comfortable. All in all, it was a nice stay.
I took a little vacation to Albuquerque. I made the mistake of coming to this place. I thought it would be like the myriad highway interchange motels- not beautiful bu okay. I initially made it for two nights, and then extended it to four nights before I got there. I told th clerk that I intended to do a lot of walking which cause her pause -because she said of potential dehydration.||It turns out what gave her pause is that this motel is in an extremely rundown part of town! There are no close by restaurants; however, there are lots of run down businesses with piles of old tires around. Workmen on site gave me weird looks as a woman travelling alone. I totally felt unsafe walking in the neighborhood. I left after one night. They totally misrepresent the area of this place. The hotel website describes it as one mile to downtown and two miles to old town but now way do you want to walk around there at night! And they will not give a refund in spite of the fact that this motel is not fit for the purpose of leisure travel. ||The clerk also entered the extension with incorrect dates. They refuse to refund money for the extension although they mispresent what you get. Also, Choice Hotel is useless for resolving the issue. |
This was one of our stays during your cross country drive back home from the West coast to the East coast. Our check in was quick enough and the staff was very nice. Our room was comfortable but the shower did not have very good water pressure or heat. The location is right off the interstate but not in the best location. For a fast overnight stay, it did the job.
We had a very pleasant stay here. The well-lighted parking lot with cameras which are monitored by the front desk staff made us feel good about our two cars and the possessions in them. A very nice complimentary breakfast. Will stay there again if I’m in Albuquerque.
