Comfort Inn & Suites - Hotel in Mankato - 2000 Commerce Dr, USA

This place was very cleaned! I love the extras in the room. They make sure you are good. Front desk staffs are nice. Stayed here only for one night due to work event. Also have good hot breakfast 6-9am!

Nicely updated hotel with very clean areas. Staff was awesome and there were many breakfast choices. I really liked the large gathering area near the lobby for visiting or playing cards. Same lounge was a nice bonus too! I will be back.

Being a trucker, I stay in a lot of comfort inns across the midwest for 34 hour resets and layovers, as I have a corporate account with Choice Hotels. Some are hit and miss, but this one is definitely a hit! The man who checked me in was incredibly helpful, friendly, and seemed genuinely curious to learn more about my company (Owning a decent sized regional trucking company is my lifes achievement). My room (318) was absolutely immaculate. It's easy to see that the housekeepers worked with pride and were meticulous in making this room spotless! The bed was seamlessly dressed in crisp, fresh scented linens and just as comfortable. I'm not sure how old the building is, but compared to some of the Comfort Inns that I've been to, it's in amazing shape! It's modern and cozy. My one regret is not getting to enjoy the hot tub, but I will next time (I will definitely be back and reccommending here to my drivers)! The bar is decently priced, I couldn't drink because of my early start the next day, but I imagine it's standard. Beer is the same wherever you go. Breakfast was well stocked with a great variety of healthy and fresh options!

Compared to the Comfort Suites we stayed at a couple days ago, this property was a pleasant surprise. It is a newer 3 story building, room was well appointed and comfortable. Everything in our room worked properly. Our check in was pleasant and efficient and the recommendation suggested for a place to eat was great. On the downside: every footstep taken by the occupant in the room above us did not go unnoticed. NEVER have we ever paid so much for a night at a Choice Hotel, let alone in a city that isn’t a “must see” destination…I mean Mankato MN—most people don’t know how to pronounce it! Every property we considered in Mankato, the rates were double and triple their normal rates for the weekend stays. Very unsettling, giving us pause to drive an extra hour to stay in a property for considerably less.

I can be tricky to combine work travel with taking a physically challenged parent to see a landmark, but this hotel made it easy! Comfy, clean, quiet, helpful, convenient to my site! Great stop and yummy breakfast. One note: The beds were higher than they looked to me in the photos, which may be an issue to some, but a stool was available.

Hotel staff was friendly upon check in and room was clean! The only downside was the breakfast food was nothing special, eggs were super watery and the air conditioner was super loud through the evening. Great bar options though.

I personally love this hotel. The hotel staff make you feel so comfortable, they are always so nice. The rooms are clean and new. I also like the population of people who stay at this hotel. It is mostly all adults and seems to be 45+ age range. I personally don't prefer a hotel that has young kids partying, etc.

I always stay here when I come to Mankato the staff is great the rooms are clean the beds are comfortable they have a bar and you can pay for them to make you a pizza they have a room full of snacks and drinks to buy and their breakfast is awesome try the pancakes from the pancake machine better than home great buttery taste and the bacon is cooked perfectly a lot to choose from on their breakfast spread more than most hotels and the rates are very reasonable
