This hotel is terrible. It looks as if it was an old apartment building or a retirement center. It had to have been built in the 60's. It should not be allow to carry the "Comfort Inn" name.|The hotel is filthy, there is some remodeling going on but you can see that what little they are doing is not going to mask the outdated aurora of the hotel. The housekeeping was nonexistent. My tub in my room was filthy, it wasn't clean. If they have a housekeeping Supervisor then they should be fired! I was offered to move to another room but if the housekeeping in that room was pitiful then what are the chances that the other rooms would be the same. I wasn't offered any refund or points for my inconvenience but I was offered a snack if I wanted it, as if a candy bar was going to fix the issues.|Don't take my word for it, just ask to see the room before you check in and I promise you that you won't even make it to the elevator before you turn around. Make sure you have a backup hotel to check into. |Comfort Inn please do not respond with your standard reply that comes from the corporate office. Those replies are so fake!
It's very nice to go on vacation and have everything work out perfectly! The beds were very comfortable, and so were the pillows! The staff were so polite as well. The only thing I would change is to have bacon one morning and sausage the next. However, It still was very tasty.
Interesting hotel in a fairly remote area. It's both dated and updated, depending on the part of the room. The 2 bedroom suites are MASSIVE. Everything we encountered was clean but, going back to somewhat dated, parts still felt a little dirty. The AC worked great. The beds and pillows were soft. The staff was very good. Overall, would stay here again. One note, in addition to being a hotel, it's clear that it also has full-time residents; not that this is a negative but I'd never seen it before.
We stopped in at this hotel while traveling home from MN and it had been storming and raining buckets for miles and everyone along our route was booked. We took a chance with this hotel despite the less than perfect reviews because we simply could not keep traveling and needed some rest. The lady at the front desk was kind and courteous, the room was adequate and clean and most importantly the beds were comfortable. We were on the 5th floor and the overwhelming smell of cooked food was present in the warm/stuffy hallway once we got off of the elevator, but it was okay once we got in our room. The building is apparently partially occupied with full-time residences/condos, so I’m sure that’s where the food smell came from. It was off-putting but not a deal breaker. We were able to rest in a clean comfortable room and the price was overall a good value. We would stay here again while traveling.
Booked a room here for an event only for them to call us a few days before our reservation and say that they overbooked the room. So we had to find a hotel 30 minutes away (since everything else was booked in the area). We check into our new hotel 30 mins away and at 10PM Comfort Inn calls us TWICE to ask where we are when they literally just told us a few days ago they overbooked. What kind of employees do they have working over there? They woke up our newborn and toddler who were sleeping due to calling so late in the night. Terrible service. So angry. Book any other hotel but this one. Too many problems.
Positive: The staff were very helpful and not limited to just one person- everyone from the 3 front desk employees I encountered to the cleaning crew. Negative: The pillows were not comfortable and there was bulky plastic covering coming undone around the bed- was noisy and looked trashy. The balcony was very dirty and had one chair.
Horrible experience. Had to change rooms 3 times due to cleanliness of the bed & the toliet, and an issue with the air conditioner. Staff was no equipped to deal with the issue and it was clear that this hotel (with a lot of potential and a great historic theme) has been abandoned by the owners.
Hate to say it, but this is the worst Comfort Inn at which I've stayed. The building has to be 30 years old and the upper floors are used for some sort of condo living. Upon entering the hall to our room on the second floor, the musty smell of the aged carpets was really strong and offensive. Then, the wi-fi would not connect, so I spoke with the front desk clerk, who essentially said, yeah, it doesn't work too much. I never could get it to work that night, so I had to use the hot spot on my phone. It did work the next morning, not sure why. The room was the most humid hotel room I've stayed in and the carpet stuck to my feet as I walked across it. The breakfast was standard Comfort Inn fare.
We stayed there this past weekend for my daughters cheer competition. The staff was very nice and accommodating considering how busy they were for the weekend. They were always respectful. The breakfast was good with a lot of options, our room was
Such a cool, cool experience. The staff was awesome, I was jumping with my friends and Luis was my instructor. He was really good at making me feel safe, and he explained what I needed to do every step of the way. It was a beautiful day out and he to
You can tell the chefs truly care about food here. Everything I've ever ordered has been delicious! The decor is also very charming and welcoming. I like to come here with friends or date night ð
We LOVE taking our train loving toddler here for picnics. Also a great place to stop on a road trip. Trains go by all the time. There are heated bathrooms (but there are not changing tables in the bathrooms).
Park is handicap accessible. I've never
I haven't eaten here in years. Even before the Tornado hit. So this is basically my first time here. I was surprised at the creative options on the menu. Found many things I wanted to try. Almost ordered the "Horse"... I was quite pleased with
Amazing fried chicken. Cole slaw was the bomb - that's a good thing. Menu is extensive, something for everyone. Staff is very informative and accommodating. I will definitely be back. A must to eat at!

This place was nicer than I expected! I had the hubvana sandwich with tots, which I'd definitely recommend. We can in on a Friday afternoon and ate and had a beer. It was very welcoming with great food!
