Comfort Inn - Hotel in Antioch - 2436 Mahogany Way, USA

Overall my experience their was going great till I went to check out, and had a run around because of the cash deposit. And then scamming us, saying I smoked marijuana in the room and was rolling up joints when I don't even smoke joints, or blunts. So I couldn't get my cash deposit back because I'm pretty sure they used pics of some other room. Unless they mistaken toilet paper on the bed for joint paper.. and dirt from the racetrack as ashes

Couldn't stay here. At check in, I was told room is ready to go. When I got to my room it had not been cleaned at all. Bed was a mess. Burger mess all over a table. Bathroom a mess. I spoke with staff there and was given a different room. This one had roaches! After alerting them to the roaches they gave me yet a 3rd room with even more roaches. Staff was understanding and issued me a full refund but I cannot, in good conscience, recommend anyone stay there at this time.

Front desk is rude and extremely unhelpful making every interaction way harder than it needs to be. Shower was not clean. I didnt book more nights because front desk is so incompetent.

***** 3/27/2024 - Review of my second stay. My second stay was just as good as my first stay. Only thing I noticed is while I was sitting in the cafeteria area is this… Apparently, half of the people staying here are using the morning breakfast to sustain their whole day of eating. I watched one couple who had their grandkids with them. The grandson was a twin to the departed John Candy and that well fed boy had three man sized servings of bacon and ate six sausages in one sitting. This doesn’t include the other food that he wolfed down. Some other guy tied up the counter space and the waffle maker for over fifteen minutes, while he stashed three or four bananas, made enough waffles to feed angels stadium, took half of the bread section, made off with enough eggs to feed a full greyhound bus. Stashed a few bottles of apple juice and played rap music at full blast while doing all of this. Really? Some other guy walked out with two plates of food and then came back to make more helpings. I get it if you have people in your room but later I noticed he checked out early on his own. He was well stocked for the day. I also noticed that there are some permanent residents and a few non customers who had depleted some areas of food. That poor lady, who has to restock food and supplies could barely keep up. Some other people had so much coffee that they actually ran out. What happened to common sense and decency for others whom haven’t had breakfast yet. Breakfast is still going as I type and it is quite amazing sitting back and watching the situation. ***** 2/14/2024 Review of my first stay. Kazi and his team were nice. The check-in was as smooth and simple as it should be. My room was clean, and I didn't SEE any critters, DNA stains, debris, or anything to complain about. The TV didn't work, and they sent a nice gentleman out to provide the correct remote. He didn't bother checking all of the remote functions beyond the remote switching the TV on, off, and providing volume control, but it didn't do anything else. Couldn't operate the Guide, change channels, or open the units menu. I was already undressed and tired, so I just let it go. I was going to watch some YouTube stuff anyways so I really didn't need the TV. I won't be eating breakfast here, so I won't have an opinion on that. Maybe someone else may write up an accurate review on breakfast. Other than that, things are pretty good. I'm not a fan of climbing stairs these days, so if your joints give you trouble... you've been warned. I think the prices may be a little steep for the area and offerings, but you have to pay to play. Overall, it's not bad, and I can not confirm or deny if the negative reviews are accurate. I'll just say that Room 130 passed the test.

On 07/05/24. You did not send me security deposit you Stupid people trying scam guests. I call you many times no one responds I am recording this document I will see you in court.

Nice clean place .... great free breakfast... nice pool ,washer an ,dryers available an vending an nice staff thanks .. definitely will recommend an will book again hear..

ZERO THIS PLACE DESERVES A ZERO. Staying at the comfort in was the worst experience I could have ever imagined. I booked at the Comfort Inn for my WEDDING DAY! Primarily because it was the only hotel to offer a room block for my guests. I booked knowing that it was an Inn and I did not have the highest expectations but this was below what should be considered standard. This hotel should be reevaluated for safety and health standards. First, when checking in at 5 PM I was informed one of my rooms was not ready. How could you not have a room ready by the evening and 2 hours past check-in time? Not only that but the room that was ready smelled like cigarettes (the hotel is non smoking) and the couch in the king suite was wet.(Who knows what happened in there) I immediately requested a different room. The guests who booked rooms with me also had problems with their rooms. The first two rooms did not have a functioning heater, another room also smelled like smoke and lastly, I had a guest cancel their reservation due to insects being inside the hotel room. This was so disappointing. On top of all of this my guests and I had to deal with our room key malfunctioning 5 different times. CAUSING ME TO BE LATE TO MY WEDDING!! A day I am going to remember for the rest of my life is tainted with the disgust of staying at this hotel. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in my entire life. If you are thinking about staying here DONT!! The rooms are dirty and barely cleaned, the heating/ACs do not work in certain rooms and the Staff is not helpful and knows that the hotel is not up to standards. When leaving the hotel I requested to be contacted because I would have liked a refund for me and my guests. I have yet to be contacted by the hotel manager Kazi Ran, who assured me they would reach out. The front desk manager Ron, spent all weekend trying to help me but ultimately failed. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE. At this time I have reached out directly to the hotel team but I am waiting to hear back.
