Got married here and rented out all of the rooms. They were all different, charming and the perfect setting for our weekend. Great staff, easy to work with. Nothing like getting married on the front steps of The Columns in March!
Great atmosphere!!!
You can tell it's a locals lace which I like. We walked over from our Airbnb - just minutes walk from Prytania.
Just ordered drinks and a few appetizers… A wonderful evening and we will definitely be back. Server was super and attentive. Loved it!
STUNNING property, gorgeously maintained. This is what a historic hotel should look like. Friendly staff, wonderful classic cocktails, delicious food options from a thoughtful menu. Streetcar stop directly out front. Short stroll to other cocktails & restaurants along St Charles.
Shout out to Joseph & Lauralea for taking care of us! We will absolutely be back.
We didn’t stay here, but had a fabulous time at the bar. We had a group of about 30, and kind of took over the bar area, and the staff (and drinks!) were spectacular. Patrick, in particular, was an exceptional bartender and made me what was probably the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. Oh, and try his Manhattan!
This is a beautiful, historic 1883 home turned hotel on St. Charles Ave. with lots of gorgeous architectural details. We come here to enjoy drinks and small plates on the porch or in one of the parlors/lounges. We've been here on a few occasions with sometimes 10-20 people, and the last two times, we had some service issues (servers disappeared, tables not cleared between rounds, etc.). I'm just making note as the 3rd time won't be the charm that this beautiful place deserves.
We stayed here over Christmas and it was so great. Upon arrival we were treated to a Pimms Cup and shown our room. Our room was huge and beautiful and worth the upgrade knowing that we wanted to really indulge on this trip. The hotel is such a vibe.
Hotel: So well done but does not feel over done of that makes sense. We actually spent more time at this hotel than any other one that we stayed at. Upon entering the room they had a cute vintage like radio playing the local Jazz station and we listened to it the entire time. A complimentary bottle of wine and two bottles of mineral water. The bed was huge and comfortable and the room was cleaned every day. The room had a massive with a claw foot tube and huge bathroom. There is a porch right outside for guests only and can get loud if guests are out there late night and maybe not so private we used our shoes to keep the shutters shut. The room we were in was next to the street so can be loud with the streetcars.(I always bring ear plugs) The room next to us had their TV so loud it sounded like it was on surround sound all night long. These were the only downfalls of the room. There is free coffee in the coffee bar in the morning but tea is not included and kind of expensive. However it was the best cup of tea I have ever had.
We had Christmas brunch and it was so good. The firepits outside are so nice to have at happy hour. The place is popping at happy hour but you can see why. We played pool in the pool, drank drinks by the fire, watched the streetcars go by over morning coffee, took naps with the windows open. Just totally enjoyed. All of the guests and customers were so nice.
The only thing I wish is that they. had maybe a place to fill a water bottle somewhere for guests.
Location: GREAT! We walked all over the garden district, went to the french quarter one time and were so over stimulated, came back to the hotel that felt like home. Loved all of the restaurants and shops on magazine street (20 min walk) Felt safe a night. Loved the char grilled oysters at Superior Seafood before we went out one night.
Would stay here again for sure. I want to check out some of their other properties next time. They are doing a great job.
I mainly come here for cocktails on the patio or on the porch. A very nice place to sit and have a cocktail or coffee. The inside is a spectacular place to meet friends and have a drink if it's not great outside. Parking out front can be a little difficult on the weekends.
This was a repeat stop. My friend and I had been here a few years ago and wanted to stop again with his sister and brother-in-law so they can see what a nice place it was. We said on the front porch in the service was excellent with great food and drinks. You look definitely a great stop Not too far from the streetcar stop.
We had such a wonderful time staying at The Inn. We were greeted by our wonderful host⦠I mean warden. Todd was great and walked us around the jail, showing us where everything was. He had great suggestions for where to eat and shop. The kitchen ha
This is the cutest hotel. Our room was a lot bigger than we initially thought it would be. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our TV the first night. We had plans to explore during the day and then go to dinner at night
I cannot give this venue high enough praise. The venue is absolutely stunning and you can tell the owners care a lot about making it a great space. The staff was accommodating, helpful, gracious, and friendly.
The executive king room is amazing, like having our own apartment right in the heart of the French quarter. Very clean. Great hotel staff. Easy to walk everywhere. My only complaints would be the water pressure is non-existent, but I imagine with old

From the moment you step into the grand lobby, it becomes apparent that this hotel is not merely a place
Excellent accommodations! Though basic and simple, the rooms are spacious, clean, and sufficient. The beds are very comfortable. A NICE amenity was the over-sized fridge in each room. Thereâs a microwave in the common area also. Convenient and safe
We loved everything about this place. Quirky, colorful, and historically old with tons of artwork everywhere. Lots of personality. Our room was super cute and we slept comfortably in the bed. We enjoyed hanging out on the private balcony.

This was one of my favorite museums during my visit. I learned so much. Didn't know about the free People of Color in Louisiana. Imagine if they had been allowed to thrive... how different America would be today.
Of all the trees in City Park the McDonough Oak is likely the oldest and the most majestic. The huge branches have sagged to the ground under their own weight and over time. This tree stood in an ancient forest on this spot long before Europeans arri
