Columbus Motel - Motel in Columbus Junction - 265 Colonels Dr, USA

I was traveling for work and stayed here for 4 weeks and I was taken aback by the hospitality of this place. The rooms are as good as new, entire place is clean with no litter around, front desk has a nice fragrance with a friendly receptionist welcoming you with a smile. They sell snacks at front desk and also offer coffee and the owner is always ready to help you regardless how occupied he is. It’s a quaint little place with every amenity .

The rooms weren't finished during our stay. I believe management was in the middle of constant renovations. There was more puddy visible in the room than in Rita Repulsa's tower. Door was also a little sketch. I tested it a bunch though, nobody was getting in. I'll give it a few years and see how it turns out. Let me tell you though, the rooms were very clean and the front desk was VERY accommodating.

I stayed at the Columbus Motel this week and had a delightful experience. The owners treated me like family, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The motel has been recently renovated, and considering its affordable price, I will certainly return in the future.

BEWARE! Not only will you be told you’re seeking revenge for leaving a bad review that is honest and can be proven. I turned in this hotel after they lied to my credit card company “ again I took pictures “ I was alone but they said I had company I fought with and caused guest to complain. It’s funny too because I left the hotel and did not stay! The room was disgusting, dirty, smoked in “. Cigarettes and marijuana”. I booked absolutely not the room that I was given and got there. Bathrooms were not clean. Appliances were broken and I did not feel safe. I was traveling alone as a female I was harassed. The pictures that they have posted are absolutely not at this hotel looks like but I am posting no pictures at the moment because like I said I’m turning them in. They lied to my credit card company, post misleading and deceitful. I encourage you if you stay here take pictures of your room. Also be prepared that they are disgusting rude liars. I have made a complaints to the health department I was so disgusted and disappointed I checked into the room and then I left to go meet up with Family and when I came back that’s when I decided after looking around and I was rapidly leaving. I left that hotel by 11 o’clock that night and I drove all the way back home because they were no hotels close by. The lady admits in a review her wrongs and I’m documenting everything. If you ask why I’m so upset I would say it’s probably because of the written report to my credit card company that was nothing but lies in the dispute, She says that everybody’s out to get revenge if they write a bad review I see that in Google reviews now. DO NOT STAY HERE. This is my place for people live. I am demanding all proof of her accusations. I’m sure she knows exactly how I am and I hope she does it!! See you in small claims court. I have pictures of the room. Proof through my vehicles Bluelink I left I did and traveled all the way back home. Not like I lived that far away about 40 minutes, but still. She as far as to say, I stole the room keys when I left them in the room on the counter. You. A see attachments of how they react to their customers reviews.

Clean and great place for the price. Staff is very helpful. We always book there when we travel that way.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Columbus Junction. The hotel is a bit dated, as can be expected in such a small town. But the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. The location was also convenient off the highway and near a Casey’s but still quiet. And you can’t beat the price. We would definitely stay again.

The people were so kind and helpful and the rooms were spotless and luxurious. The community is very peaceful and the service was extraordinary.
