We rented a room with 2 queen beds and a patio for a 1 night stay. The room was spacious and very clean. Ceiling fan was nice to have to circulate the heat. The heater worked great too. The bathroom was nice. Full size shower with full size shampoo/conditioner/body washes provided as well as hand soap and body lotion. Had a dresser, table with 2 chairs, microwave and fridge. There was a Kureg with coffee pods too. Let's talk about the beds, they were very comfortable and warm. They provided extra blankets (that we did put on the beds since we were chilled from being outside at the Stanley Hotel earlier). The pillows were also perfect.
We stayed a night at the Hyatt regency in downtown Denver this past February and those beds/pillows were awful. I told my son that your room doesn't have to cost a lot in order for it to be amazing.
It was worth every penny and will definitely be staying there again in the future. It was also next to an amazing pizza joint.
We arrived after 4 and checked in right away. The room was neat ,clean and updated. We were happy to find a fridge, microwave working bathtub and even a hairdryer. The room smelled clean and the sheets on the bed were so soft. It is cleaner than our own home which is pretty unusual for a hotel room. We were glad to find tile floors and updated fixtures in our room as well. The list goes on as to why we would recommend staying here. Great location and fair prices. Don’t pass this place over …it’s definitely worth trying.
As I write this, it’s early morning, I’m savoring the coffee in my room, enjoying the gas fireplace, and listening to an elk bugle somewhere not too far away. I have to check out this morning, and I don’t want to!!! I spent two nights here, and I cannot say enough good things about it. the room is clean, efficient, and comfortable. The property is quiet with available outdoor seating to enjoy the surroundings. Staying here has been a wonderful experience.
We totally loved this place! The "classiest" best maintained motel we've been in. Non-carpeted floors, well-insulated so stayed warm even with heater off overnight in low temps, windows on the front & back sides for great light. A loveseat, good bedside lamps for reading. Quiet, even though on the main road. Great front desk service. Walkable to Estes lake/trail. Convenient to eateries/groceries in town & of course Rocky Mtn Natl Park. Highly recommended!
Exceptional Motel - arguably the best I’ve experienced on many road trips.
Fresh smelling exceptionally clean room with all amenities. The linen was better than many 4 star hotels I’ve stayed at.
The Elk in the motel garden were an added bonus.
Great location with outdoor seating area and view of the mountains. Rooms were just what I needed -- clean, modern, and budget-friendly but not "cheap." Great service with daily cleaning.
Minor cons...
- Sinks will splash all over you if you use the faucet more than 30%
- Outdoor lighting attracts bugs at night, and may make it harder to sleep
- Location forces you to drive through downtown Estes which can be unpleasant
None of these detracted significantly from my experience, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone staying in Estes.
The rooms are small but very clean and well maintained. The price is extremely reasonable for Estes Park. Each room has a microwave, mini-refrigerator, and K-cup brewer. The owners were very friendly and the lady at the front desk was very helpful. We will be staying there again.
We're often in Estes for work and the Columbine Inn is our go-to place to stay. The rooms are quiet and the beds are crazy comfortable. The rooms have all the amenities you could ask for and the ones with patios are especially enjoyable. Easy walking distance to a couple of restaurants and the lake. Their staff is always pleasant and was very helpful when we had to arrive after midnight. They made sure we knew exactly where our room was and how to check in.

Awesome room, we staid in #3, 4, and 5 and they were perfect. They have great access to down town Estes. We talked with their staff nearly every day of our trip as they have a free movie rentals area. Their staff was very frendly. Great sized room wi
A great experience all around especially the service. A five rating doesn't seem high enough especially Bridgette at the front desk. Our room with fireplace was a special treat. Breakfast was good also.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and we had a wonderful time! Our room was so cozy and romantic! The heart shaped jetted tub was super nice! The staff were very friendly and we loved the complimentary sâmores and breakfast

On an off-season stay a couple weeks ago, we were able to get one of the mountain-view double-king rooms and really enjoyed it. Hotel was very-well maintained and everything seemed like new. The hot-tub and pool were spotless. Breakfast was great.
You canât ask for a better location, barely a mile from our room to one of the visitor centers of The Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was super clean, jacuzzi, kitchen, linens, floors, bathroom, all were spotless. Bed was medium to soft, wor
My dad and I stopped by this gallery during our vacation to Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm so glad we did! The photography is absolutely incredible. There are very high quality large prints for sale, but also affordable smaller ones which were als
Another of the beautiful overlooks of the Trail ridge rd. This one looks at the valley that is between the trail ridge rd and the fall river road to which the fall river flows from the receding glaciers of the RMNP. Has a slightly larger parking lot
Phenomenal view on a clear day. Quiet windy as should be expected, so protect your hats from flying away. Keep eyes open for mountain goats and elks. Last time we had a coyote jump in front of our car in pursuit of prey. The road up to this overlook
Absolutely loved this place! It was exactly what I was looking for! My husband and I stayed here last weekend so we could visit Rocky National park! It was so cute and perfect, loved the hot tub and the owners were beyond nice! If we ever came back t
This resort is by far my favorite place I have ever stayed in Estes Park, the location is far enough away from everyone else to feel tucked away but still be close enough to town. The service is phenomenal, every little detail truly matters to them a
River Stone Resorts is a fantastic getaway location. It offers super easy access to the Fall River entrance of RMNP and is outside of town enough to have peace and quiet but close enough to easily enjoy all that downtown has to offer. Cinnamon's Bake
The Workshire Lodge is located on the banks of the Fall River a mile from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park = Awesome! and 2 miles from Estes Park where you will find souvenir shops and restaurants in this fun little town.
