Colton's Steak House & Grill - Steak house in Sikeston - 101 Hospitality Dr, USA

Took forever for us to get waited on, although they were busy so that’s forgiving. However, there was a live roach in our food and they only provided compensation for one item. We still had to pay over 40$ for the rest of the food, after witnessing a live roach in one of our dishes and they refused to discount anything else. But, that being said, the three waitresses that helped us were extremely nice about everything. It was their manager that didn’t provide much of a solution.

The staff was extremely friendly. However, we were never offered any rolls. We had to ask for them. Then I ordered a 10oz sirloin, and it was literally rotten. It had a very weird texture and had a very odd sour taste. I told the waitress, and nobody apologized about it not once. The waitress just asked, "So, do you want me to make you another one or just take it off your bill?" I definitely just had them take it off my bill.. My sweet potato tasted amazing it was just super small. And my house salad also was tasted amazing. Other than the roll situation and my rotten meat. The place wasn't horrible. However, I will not ever be going back myself. And I pray to God this didn't ruin steak for me forever.

Started out fine. Great potato skins! Great fresh rolls! Went down hill from there. No drink refills. Ordered a salad with my meal. Didn't get it. When entree was brought out, I asked about salad. They brought it out after my entree arrived. Good news they did remove it from the bill. Couple in booth behind us hadn't gotten their food. Heard the waitress say she forgot to put the order in but would do it and put a rush on it. She apologized. Then came back with bad news... they were out of one of the items the family had ordered. The man said never mind. We are leaving. I heard them tell their child they would go to Dairy Queen.

Dinner was delicious, but what made everything so wonderful was our awesome server Joy. She was attentive, kept our glasses filled. Super professional and friendly. I want her to be my server from now on... food was delicious.. stuffed as usual when I left...

This was our second time visiting. The first time our steaks were tough and the food was not up to par. This time, years later, the steaks were tough, the food was cold when they brought it out, we ordered medium on our steaks and got rare, they ran out of baked potatoes (this was at 2 p.m.) and the potatoes skins were pretty much burnt and there wasn't a lot of potato to be had. Sadly, we won't be going back.

Horrible experience. On a road trip and arriving late, we checked ahead to see what time they closed. 10. We arrived at 9:05. We were seated quickly. Drinks were brought and were told our order would be taken shortly. We waited at least 20 minutes before she came back. 2 kids meals with a side of ranch each, 3 steaks with 2 sides each and a cup of soup. A salad for one of us came out fairly quickly. The soup 10 minutes later after asking. The rest came out after closing time. The meal with salad had its other side. The other 2 dinners both ordered baked potato and okra. One had the potato, the other had okra. Neither side of ranch came out. Told server about it, so she brought one of them. Reminded to bring the other one. Also told about the missing sides. A potato was brought so asked about the missing okra. All 3 steaks were cooked wrong. One was to be medium, the others medium well. All 3 were beyond well and too dry to enjoy. We didn't say anything else after all the other mess and the fact it was now 20 minutes after closing and we had been there well over an hour.

Colton’s Steak House & Grill located in Sikeston, Missouri is a really good restaurant. The food is great. The atmosphere is awesome. We recommend this restaurant.

This would have been 4 but we had to have our Filet Mignon steaks remade. We ordered Medium and they were Well. Somewhat burnt in places. We have been to the Colton’s in Poplur Bluff, MO so we figured we would try this on our way through. It wasn’t busy but the waitress apparently was hostess also, she wasn’t around much. Only asked one time for drink refills and didn’t offer to get a take out drink to go. The manager came out to look at our steaks and he agree they needed remade. The cook said she under cooked them the second time so if they were not right she could throw them on some more time. This made it sound like she really didn’t know how to cook a steak and a Filet is not something to be messing up with.
