Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center - Wildlife refuge in Divide - 4729 Twin Rocks Rd, USA

Where your dreams of observing, interacting, and even petting a couple of wolves can come true! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and they have a true passion for all the critters at the reserve! The reserve is a beautiful environment for the animals to roam in and a grand environment to observe them in! Definitely a one of a kind experience, especially the photography sessions that are offered! They also have a magnificent gift shop that truly does have something for everyone! I'm from North Carolina, I purchased and experienced the group photo session. The staff DOES makes sure that you have a chance to interact with the wolves before you leave. The photos they take are done with precise timing! They know their wolves well! Well worth the price to experience this rare opportunity, and I would do it a hundred more times if I could!I look forward to going back with my son one day! As an animal and particularly a wolf lover, this was one of the best experiences of my life! The knowledge they have of the animals they are working so hard to preserve and the obvious love and care they provide for each of them is very evident. An awesome place and experience. Be sure to check the events page before visiting to see what extra fun or educational thing they may be doing for an extremely reasonable price!

I cannot say enough good things about the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. I was visiting Colorado Springs for a work trip and knew I needed to make the journey to visit the wolves. The VIP experience is incredible, and the staff are extremely accommodating at trying to get you great photos and very friendly. The facility itself is beautiful, with spacious enclosures and enrichment for the animals. As a veterinarian I appreciate the effort to maintain good health and welfare of the animals, as well as the effort to educate the public on wolf behaviour and ecology. Debunking the “alpha male” myth is particularly important since neither wolves nor dogs operate on a dominance hierarchy. Emily our tour guide was clearly very passionate about wolf behaviour and conservation and I wish I could have had more opportunity to chat with her. These beautiful animals are a vital part of the ecosystem and I am grateful to the CWWC for their efforts to advocate on behalf of wolves and wolf conservation and educate the public. I am even more grateful to the animals themselves for welcoming me into their space and allowing me to fulfill a lifelong dream.

Beautiful place. I'm glad such place exist, they do amazing things for the endangered wildlife. It's sad to hear what these lovely creatures go through. Definitely worth going and taking a look for yourself. Emily was our tour guide and she introduced us to a variety of lovely wolves and coyotes. Being very informative about the critical situation they are facing as well as how incredible and smart they are. We promise to visit every year or any time we can to support you all. Thank you. There's plenty more wolves I just snapped a couple of pictures. Howling with the wolves at the end was a great farewell and is something we want to experience again.

Must visit. Easy to find. Would recommend reservations in advance. We didn't and were able to get the next time slot. The gift shop is amazing and has a seating area in the back with coffee and tea. The tour was eye-opening with the populations of the wolf and how each state treats them. I'm so glad this place is here to educate us all. We howl and the wolf's howl back at us.

We took the feeding tour last Saturday evening. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I had some preconceived "knowledge" about wolves; boy, was I wrong! Our tour guide was great with adults and kids. The wolves, foxes, coyotes, and New Guinea Laughing Dogs are extremely well taken care of and beautiful. Lots of space for all of them. If you have even the slightest interest in these animals, this is a must visit. The money raised goes to protect these animals. Thank you to the staff, the ones we met, and the others we didn't; you're doing wonderful work.

If you love Animals you cannot skip on the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. I was able to make a dream come true by interacting with Foxes and Wolves. Our tour guide and animal handler were amazing, super friendly and intelligent. Being up close and personal with these majestic creatures truly makes you understand how important it is that we protect them.

This place is amazing!! You get so close to the animals, and they teach you so much while you're there. I did the wolf encounter and will have photos to look back on from an experience of a lifetime. The staff was very friendly and kind. Plus, they have cool stuff in the gift shop for decent prices, and all the proceeds go back into the wolves. However, if you go in the wintertime, wear boots cause it's slick and icy on the paths - you're in the mountains, lol
