I've been on the road for quite a while and I've had reason to hang out on Canon City longer than expected. Central location in a great town. The owners have me feel so at home! They've really taken good care of me. Genuinely good people. My room is bright and clean. Regularly cleaned, unlike the hotels still using COVID as the reason they've cut housekeeping. I'd never stay anywhere else.
Had a great stay here! Lovely service, great rates and selection of free movies too. Felt safe and rooms were perfect, would highly recommend.
Small basic room. But services the purpose of a bed and shower. Very kind and friendly owner who gave us good advice of places to visit. Perfect location we could walk to restaurants, shops, river walk and the train. Better than staying at $$$ chains.
We were attracted to this family owned motel after checking out outrageously priced chain hotels in the area. The sign said -“ Come & check out our rooms” and we did! No disappointment whatsoever - the rooms were simple, clean, and all we needed for our stay in Canon City.| The real pleasure of staying here was the genuine feeling of hospitality & attentiveness of Christine & Ziggy Stopka - lovely, hardworking people whose care is very evident on the whole property. We also appreciated their advice on what to see & explore in the area. No question - we would be delighted to stay at their motel again 👍🏼
A very nice and very clean older property.|The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and make sure you are happy with your stay.|Nice location close to good restaurants and attractions.|Christine and her husband were great talking to pointed out the history of the area.|Would definitely stay again if in the area.
What started off with a little misunderstanding ended with a very pleasant stay. The owner is very friendly and gave us tips for our quick stay in canyon city
The room is simple, confortable and clean, and has everything you need.
This is probably the best hotel in Canon city. The owner is incredibly nice. The rooms are great and it's in a perfect location. Definitely recommend. I'd give it more stars if they were available.
Quiet rooms on the way to Royal Gorge. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed each. Super convenient location for the Gorge and more. The park on 4th by the river is a must visit and close to your room. Bring swimming gear. The host suggested Skyline Drive. We drove it 4 times. Bring your guts. This will be the scariest drive you have ever done. Dinosaur tracks and bones are there. If you have never touched a dinosaur bone, stop at the top and carefully walk down to the signs. Hadrosaurus bones and tracks very prominently visible.

Coach Solana was awesome. Great instructor/coach, positive, she pushes you when you feel like giving up. The gym was big & clean, well organized. Equipment was super nice and like new condition and the CrossFit athletes that are regulars there whe
An eclectic gift shop, clothing store, and fun shopping experience located in the heart of Cañon City. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the events and happenings in the area, and we left with maps and suggestions for things to do on f
Great 1.5 mile hike on the Royal Gorge Overlook Loop with just as good of views of the Royal Gorge as the park without the cost. The most scenic hike I've been on.

Definitely a blue black diamond trails in parts. Summer season itâs full of tourists who are enjoying the path as well. So just be mindful you wonât be able to send as much as you would like because you have to watch for p
I will start by saying I am very picky about my food and I leave reviews often. Rarely do I leave a 5***** review.
The food here is fresh, tasty and authentic.
The price is decent, around $20-$30 per person, but definitely worth it.
