Beautiful condos in resort off the beaten path and completely away from highly populated areas. The the building the grounds the proximity to the black sand beaches. All are reasons that you should consider taking a vacation here. Especially if coming from the east coast of the United States. This is a great place to stay as you'll be waking up in time to watch the sunrise over the black sand beach. The walk from your room to the lava rocks in the black sand is less than 5 or 7 minutes and offers completely unparalleled views.
This is an older resort but very well maintained. The unit is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The view of palm trees and the ocean are spectacular. The kitchen has everything we need for meals we choose to cook. Everything on the grounds is meticulously maintained.||The staff are consistently friendly and helpful.||Very near the Black Sand Beach.||The only thing lacking is good signage coming off the highway. The resort can't be seen until you are a way in.
This is a wonderful place that not many people know about. It is very quiet, relaxing, and off the beaten path! We had the opportunity to trade in timeshare points for a two bedroom condo, and I’m so glad we took it. Thousands of tourists flock to the Kona and Kohala area but not many tourists come down here. Proximity to black sand beach is amazing. We went there every day to watch the turtles and the waves crashing into the lava rock. Close to Volcanoes National Park and the south point as well. The grounds are kept very nice and our unit was clean (maybe older, but nicely updated). I’ll miss that rooster waking me up every morning! We enjoyed our stay so much!
Lovely quiet relaxing. Condominium complex could use a little updating. BBQs were in great shape. Pool area gorgeous. Easy walk to the black sand beach. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. No restaurants, stores, or other services so make sure you bring what you need.
One bedrooms are spacious yet cozy. Beautiful lanai. But bring your own everything. There is no food to eat anywhere...closest place for groceries is Oceanside. No golf or tennis here as advertised on the highway turnoff.
Nice place to stay, however you need to bring food with you from Kona, because there's no grocery stores or restaurants close by. Side note, they do charge $10/ day for air conditioning, and it's a small portable unit in the downstairs bedroom.
Unit 28. I will start with the bad first. We had flying roaches in our unit each night. Medium to big in size. We had sugar ant invasion and a lizard leaving droppings. |We spoke to staff on 2 occasions and they pretty much said that's how it is due to the time of year and area we are in, however after speaking with other guests while in the pool area, it was clear that this is not the case as they didn't have any roaches. Staff said they would send someone over to check. We didn't see anyone come over. We used roach and aint spray that was under cabinet. ||It was uncomfortable to sleep due to this concern. We also had something making a tapping noise. It sounded kind of like bird or something, we never saw it but we heard it daily. The coach was small and uncomfortable.||The good. Staff was nice. Beautiful view of the ocean from our patio. Nice patio furniture. Grounds clean and maintained. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The water was hot. The room unit was nice overall. The hot tub and pool area was nice. We used a grill to make burgers. ||The black beach was a nice little 5 min walk. ||Location was great. Went to volcano national park... 30 mins. Green sands Beach... 40 mins plus a long 3 mile hike. It was rough but worth it. South point was 3 mins from green sands. Coffee farm on S. Point rd on the way to green sands. |Hilo 1 hr. |Coffee and pastry shop in Neehala... 10 min drive
Great location for getting away from it all. Long drive to Hilo or Kailua Kona where the "action is" but if you want to hang around the pool and take a short walk to the Black sand beach with seat turtles this place is for you. Real quiet at night for a restful sleep after it cools down from the heat of the day. Air conditioning is optional at $10 per day but if you are out at the pool you do not need that extra service.

The Southernmost Point of the United States! Yay, now i can say I've been there. The scenery was so unbelievably beautiful. People don't talk about the beach at all when they talk about the Southernmost Point. But it was the most beautiful natural c
We visited the black sand beach around 4 PM, and it was an amazing spot for watching the sunset. The black sand creates a unique feeling, almost like being in a different world. The sand is black with small stones, making it a cool experience, especi
